A CDM build at 6’4 174 lbs gets you 89 sprint speed with 79 acceleration but with quick step it’s more than good enough while beating the LWB build at everything else

Agreed I use my CDM at 6’2 and 180lbs. Max out pace without cheetah archetype, defending and passing. Absolutely insane and if you max out strength and get bull archetype even better

Intercept plus doesn’t activate no matter how well I position myself. My build had max def awareness, and 99 interceptions. Still nothing. Anticipate plus is definitely the best defense play style. Bruiser plus is also really good if you know how to utilize advanced defending.

I’m the cdm for the team white gamer plays for personally I think it’s ok it’s not always perfect but I try to make sure I’m putting myself in the passing lanes try to anticipate where they are going to play the ball don’t rely on the animations there not always perfect

You have to read the pass lanes and react good as you do it more and more you’ll get used to it all about read and react.

i think pace on a cdm is overrated. i prefere a zm build. the passing is insane and you still have over 80 sprint and accel, thats enough

Its not overrated when 97 pace players run past you and you're not able to catch up. I'm playing with 94 pace + quickstep .. always catching up and clashing their attacks.
