For some people who are going to complain about the “unPING” of the M1 Garand, this video was recorded in Firing Range of the game, the disappear of the PING was actually a bug in there.
Pedro Teodoro He and Project Arsenal are back. After the Insurgency Sandstorm video frost said he was burned out again, but he has a group of followers that does the same thing he does that he himself tells his viewers to go check out.
@@paulmoitoso9658 Using both hands to grip a pistol wasn't much of a thing back in the time. It was popularized after WW2, as much later as 1980s. Back then "point-shooting" technique (which required the use of only one hand) was used, which was based on an idea of a bullet shot from that stance being as accurate as pointing a finger. Also pistols were used primarily by officers for executions so shooting with one hand looked cool lmao.
Its sad that people don't know about this game or either hate it. This games sounds are amazing just like all weapons, explosions, shrapnel effects and models. Only thing I can criticize is that buildings insides are empty. With the new update, now everyone can revive 1x each other but to 70% HP. So people can get up the medic. This is some good stuff. Don't forget about the amazing ragdoll animations and suppressing fire effects
Christiaan Bosma I agree that the models are mostly unfinished but do you pay enough attention to them while fighting to notice, no. The Netherlands don't look the same as they did in the 40s and not everywhere in the Netherlands looks the same. Squads character models are unfinished and not all that good looking but the game is in early access same as this one. If a game is early access don't expect it to look like a AAA game with crazy detailed graphics as it's quite unreasonable to believe so. Eska HD If he has legitimate gripes with the game with quite a reasonable case it's not "Nonsense Hating". This game isn't perfect and all the praises you sang for it doesn't mean we can overlook some of the less detailed parts as doing so is irresponsible as the devs are given a free pass to not improve them. The models are pretty bad and the devs notice that and have commented that they will improve them after they've fixed some of the more pressing issues.
13:32 look, this game is totally over-effected. How is throwing a TNT spreads that much dust on the ground as if its really slammed to the ground? Plus the grenade has too much vertical debris. A grenade works more horizontally, and spreading invisible sharpnels. Just look how a grenade explode in real-life. BF 1 and V is more realistic
There is wrong with what you said but there is wrong with what they did I would in the game shoot say 2 rounds and reload and they would push in 3 of the stripper clip which would add my rounds in the kar98 to 6 instead of 5 other issues like that are present
I also love how if you reload a bolt action midway through the magazine you don't just shove another entire clip in, you actually remove the excess ammo.
@@chrisgreely5958 actually there are 2 relaod animations for each weapon, when weapon is empty and when it's not it is the same for bolt action rifles so the game doesn't count the number of bullets you fired and it doesn't matter if you fired 1 or 4 bullets, there will be still one same animation
I'm really amused. I must say, those are probably one of the best (if not actually the best) depictions of weaps I've ever seen in games. Models are flawless, animations are astonishing (although - there are some flaws, like springfield anims), sounds are great. And it's the first game I've seen, where the Lee's fast-bolt system is properly depicted. Responding to other comments - yeah, I must say, the FOV is anyway realistic, but for sure is not anti-climatic. And yea, the Garand reload could be a little better. Someone before wrote, that there was an update - could you, pretty please, upload later an updated version of those? Cheers!
Don't ever stop making more and more of these. These videos are borderline soothing to my ears... like Gun Sound Effect ASMR. Therapeutically soothing.
@@memecliparchives2254 its a tough choice since tarkov has got the proportions of the guns right since they scanned the shape but squad has got much better textures
@@chardecombatprincipalfranc7917 Oh I see what he's saying now. Yeah idk why it pings on a manual reload but the empty reload is broken and doesn't ping
So far there is no other multiplayer FPS game that has featured the WW2 eastern front other than Fog of War and red orchestra. If there is, i wonder what are those games are?
BF V has more grenades, they have lunge mine, they have anti aircraft handheld rocket, they have poison gas grenade. In term of rifle, they have less, but equipment and vehicles, they have more. Oops, BF V have planes! Hahaha
And still the same kind of error with the Lee Enfield stripper clips, you couldn't eject the clip by closing the bolt of the rifle, like you would with a Kar98K or a Springfield 1903A3, you had to remove the clips by hand and then close the bolt because if you didn't, the bolt wouldn't close
They've been updating the reload animations, and by golly they're at least 100x better. You *_need_* to do a comparison video of the old and new ones...
Hold up hold up, he put 1 round into the 1903 after firing 2 which means he should have 4 shots left, but he fired 5 afterwards. So unless the game allows you to put one in the chamber that’s wrong. I’m also skeptical about the other stuff. I know some games like to have the characters only have one midreload animation with stripped clips. So you can have stuff like during 4 rounds out of a five round magazine, insert 3 off the clip like the Kar98 animation did but have the full 5 rounds.
Well like I mean what would you call an open bolt MP44? Maybe an MKb42(H) but who would call it an MKb42(H) when you can call it an STG44. And yes, it is the classic open bolt STG
The only flaw with this game are the sight pictures. Damn, they made them small. The focal length is just way off for a lot of these. Now, I can only verify with what I have of these rifles (Garand, Enfield No.4) for sure, but my other rifles with tangent sights (Mosins, K31's) won't be much different for the others that I don't own (yet :D ). Otherwise, I love how well they've done with this game. Absolutely fantastic. BF was a let down with all the COD style mods. Why do a period game if you're not going to bother using period correct gear?
Cameron Kustka I've never played Post Scriptum, but could the weapons possibly seem close to your face in this video because the guy playing was aiming and shooting into the sky?
@Николай Полякова What? I didn't say it's unrealistic. I checked the sight picture of a M1911, however, once and it was small sighted. I also checked the sight picture of a M4 carbine and it was small sighted too. I just said it within my opinion that the sights look small, which is pretty *realistic* (at least to me).
Most of these animations are pretty bad, but holy fuck the Kar98k animations are really good. The only other decent ones are the MG34 and MG42. I also really like the idea of the Vickers animation, but it needs a LOT of work. The best things about the game are the sounds and the explosions. No doubt about it.
ZeR0ExHen I'm not talking about speed loading, I'm talking about the quality of the animations. You can make a realistic reload without it looking like dogshit, and the only gun in this game that has a good animation is the Kar98k. I really hate when people use this as an argument.
there was an issue with some guns made in WW2, or at least the magazines, where if there was any deviation in where a round was loaded compared to where it was supposed to be, the gun would jam up; slapping the magazine settles the rounds back into place
Why do they smack the side of the Thompson when reloading? This isn't the first animation to do it. That empty Lee Enfield reload is pretty sexy by the way.
@@RU-vidViolates1A Not so much for dirt, but just to make sure you don't have any rounds that didn't stack correctly in the mag. Also, the Thompson mags are double stack, not single. Smacking it can help straighten them out when they're under spring tension. Though I'd honestly say that the animation is a bit over used, but my experience is only with modern magazines (my old bolt guns don't have this issue for obvious reasons. Magazines were a lot harder to make consistently reliable back then, so it's possible there were more issues depending manufacturing methods/tolerances, especially in war time. The M1 Carbine for example is said to have magazine issues in spades. They would wear out very quickly and stop feeding reliably.
Am I the only one who noticed the error in all the rifles with internal magazine? After reloading without completely emptying the mag, all rifles end with an extra bullet: with the k98 he makes 6 shots, Lee Enfield 11 shots, Springfield 6 shots, g41 11 shots aswell after the reload. Probably the ones that uses those weapons are not going to complain because that gives them 1 extra shot, but that is completely innacurate
@@Snoopy9675 also depend on the pistol and the caliber if it is heavy and shoots and biground like the m1911 45acp then you would problery go 2 hand but if you had say a tt33 or a p39 walther of some other low caliber hand gun thats lighter and shoots a smaller round you might one hand not to mention some soldiers might of had a grenade or some form of melle weapon with a pistol in their left or right hand
@@bigbird0993 during both world wars, handgun shooting was taught to be done with one hand, as well as to position your body to be facing perpendicular to your shooting arm so you could keep a thin profile
Excuse me for carping, but you might have miswritten "Schiessbrecher" (literally - Shootbreaker) by swaping the first two vocals. You made a "Scheissbrecher" (literally Shitbreaker) out of it. Schiess Shoot Scheiss Shit
Im gonna show you my funniest Post Scriptum Gameplay. I Was Underneath The Map I Dont Know How i Exactly Got There My Friend Did Not Notice. I Was Chatting "HELP IM STUCK UNDERGROUND". My Friend Did Not Respond.
urgh yeah like how can the thompson fire when the bolt is forward and that little tap with the magazine ... why like that tap will magically charge the smg
BashoofdNL ,From what I heard.. many soldiers tap their magazine on the gun because when the magazine is fully loaded it’s kinda easy to jam it feeding mechanism and sometimes the first bullet can move slightly forward from the magazine and causing the jam so they just tapped it a bit just to be sure it’s in place. But my guess is that the dev team just did that so the reloading precess could take a little longer to finished. Btw the Thompson Smg has a bolt hold open when the magazine is empty and soldier won’t have to charge the bolt though
@@PuFFieS13 ooh yeah but hats true I was just being bit stereotypical. Even nowadays G.I's tap their mags to make sure all rounds are well seated and to tap out some dirt or dust
People are talking about the wonky animations and gun designs, while I’m sitting here wondering why the soldier smacks the magazines against some guns.
Alot of soldiers did it it was a way of clearing dirt and debris from the mag well that would cause jamming especially when they were in heavy forrested areas or mud where mud or splinters could cause the mag to not sit in the mag well right which could cause jamming misfiring or other problems it was mostly done with smgs and some rifles like the bar
Haidangg CT first you don’t say what’s that “magic” and it’s lead into misunderstand, now you say there’s no round in his left hand? Oh come on, why don’t you say there’s no individual round in right hand of the character when he’s reloading a sniper rifle, or why don’t you say there’s no round in the internal magazine of the M1903A3/A4 in this game? Go and ask the developers about that, I don’t wanna care about “invisible cartridges” while individually reloading, this happened in many game and no one give a shit to complain about that, not only Post Scriptum.
