The most valuable U.S. postage stamp is going to be auctioned in June, 2024. It is estimated to sell between 4 and 5 million dollars. And I bring you some more stampy RU-vid channels you may not be aware of but should be. Also, I "unbox" and share all of my latest stamp purchases.

Great show. My daughters have been recently at Madeira. They thought it´s a wonderful place to live at, but a little bit pricey. Yeah, the German definitive set "Famous women of German history". Awesome design and high face value in Deutschmarks back in those days, but nowadays no longer expensive due to the introduction of the Euro. Which is funny. Gross obviously can overpay for any item he wants, yet he was the 2nd high bidder when Sundman picked up the Z-Grill for under a million.

Hi Ted, great, varied video. I enjoyed the walk to and from the post office. Always nice to see the non-touristy "real" places in another country. Congratulations with the visa and enjoy the move to Madeira! It seems like a dream destination. I like the Portugal cameo stamps. Thanks for showing them to us. Very nice stamps Ted - I have always especially enjoyed Portugal and colonies! Thanks for spotlighting the other philatelic channels; looking forward to exploring the ones I was not already subscribed to. I am really enjoying Chris Loves Stamps' budget series - it is wonderful to illustrate that it is very possible to have a ton of collecting fun even if not spending so much on the hobby.

Portugal right? So without citizenship, how expensive is health care insurance? You were originally intending to retire in Germany, were you not? I hope you are having a great time living there in Europe and don't have any regrets moving there. 😀

Germany fell through because our time ran out before the immigration office ever got around to making an appointment for us to come in. But Portugal is wonderful. No regrets. Citizenship is not required. Any legal resident qualifies for the National Health System.
