Those last 2 second plays in regulation and OT were totally inexplicable. It's not just that they didn't get a shot up, it looked like they had no urgency to even try, like they had no idea how much time was left.

How do you dribble the ball at all????!!!! For gods sake catch and shot, maybe you'll get fouled.

Leaving London in the game to play 30 mins even tho she was a liability on both ends, while Gabby was doing everything to get us back in there 🤷‍♂️

Agree. Close needs to see what is happening not just stick to her normal plan. Gabby is a difference maker and needs to be on the floor more, especially when one of the starters is having a bad game.

Juju should have fouled out a few times. Refs swallow their whistle to keep her on the floor

The fact that Lauren has visible bruises on her arms and only went to the line for free throws once throughout the game last night is insane. Officiating needs to be better for post players. Post players rarely get the foul calls they deserve.

Similar to how it was when Shaq played. She gets fouled every time yet officials let big post players get hammered.

Well, the good news is, we will not get an officiating crew in the NCAA tournament that will call as many fouls on us as this one did, and we still could have won.

To those commenters who only want to trash the team and certain players on the rare occasion that we lose - Why are you never here to comment when we win? You are like bad parents who never want to tell their children when they have done well, and only want to criticize them when they make a mistake.

I agree 100%. Coach Close never singles out individual players for criticism, but she very often praises individual players when they perform well. If I had a daughter who was a very skilled basketball player, and she wanted to play for Cori Close, I would be ecstatic. I don't know anything about her personal life, but if she is a mother, I'm certain that her child/children would feel lucky to have a mother like her.

You're nuts. This team has more wins against top 25 teams than any other team in the country. No other team in the country has played a tougher schedule, so you make no sense.
