Truthfully I'm at a loss for words. To start off the season 1-6 then finish 9-8 and miss the playoffs only because the Rams have no offense really is a mixed bag of emotions. But if there is a silver lining it's that these boys played their hearts out despite knowing that their season ended last night. Coach Campbell instilled a level of discipline and pride in these boys that is unlike anything I've seen before as a Detroit Lions fan. Thank you guys for the victory in Lambeau to knock out A-A-Ron and an exciting second half of the season. I hope it carries over into the next, because it's playoffs or bust next year. This is the end of an era for Green Bay and the start of a new one for Detroit

I am nearly 60, I have been watching the Lions for 50 years. This team is my favorite one of the bunch. They have heart. They have given hope to the fans that better days are coming. Here something I have never said before.... it's a good time to be a Lions fan. Thanks to all the players, the coaches, and yes... a very big thanks to Sheila Hamp.

Been watching the Lions since 2011 when I was 10 with my dad and grandpa. We had kinda fell off the tradition of watching every week until this year. We were 2-6 and I told my dad to make sure he wasn’t doing anything on Sunday so we could get together and watch the lions again. We didn’t stop after that. This season gave me memories I’ll cherish forever.

Sheila gets it!! Replacing the turf in Detroit. She genuinely cares, and she is one of the best things that could’ve happened to this organization. Gosh dang I love this entire team!

It sucks that we did not make the playoffs but this is the most fun I have ever had watching a Lions team. Next year we are winning the North and winning a playoff game!!!

Attention all Lions fans: It doesn’t matter if you are playoff bound or not, I think I speak for fans of every other team in the league….the 2022 Detroit Lions are as inspirational as it comes. What a great team. Congrats on a winning season!

I love the moment at 1:07 - locker room gets a little wild when DC is trying to give game balls and you can hear some players shushing others to let him talk. You can tell the guys respect Dan and play their ass off for him. Playoffs next year

I'm from Detroit born and raised and people that are from here are very proud or hard-working and we think always that we're the underdog. I liked it all roads lead to Detroit. Before the super bowl Detroit had a dynasty and all roads did lead through Detroit. They call us the city of champions cuz at one time the Red wings tigers and lions and we had the heavyweight champion of the world Joe Louis there is no other city like that and has done that. That shows you the heart of our city. God bless Detroit.

Sheila definitely deserved a game ball as did jamaal but this year is team what a great year thank you lions it was a fun. Can't wait till April to see new faces and the beginning of a new year

First time in a long time the Lions make me cry joyful tears.

The best thing about Campbell is that now players want to play in Detroit. It has been years since that was the case.

Thank you Sheila Ford Hamp. 70 + years I've been cheering for the Lions. Grew up on the west side of Detroit, my grandfather was the Parks & Rec guy in town - they named the Considine Rec Center after him... and 70 years my family and I have suffered with this team. Finally we have an owner who knows what she's doing and finally we have a team to be proud of. This is so great, Sheila and Dan, and Jamaal and Jared and the whole bunch of ye.

So glad the Queen got a game ball, well deserved. Legit the best owner in the history of the nfl. She hasn’t missed a step since taking ownership. WE LOVE YOU SHEILA 💙

Best part of that game was DC telling the sideline reporter WE CAME HERE TO KNOCK THEM OUT OF THE PLAYOFFS damn that was hardcore and they did just that .

Leaving LA was the best thing that could’ve happened to Goff. He’s playing with a chip on his shoulder and was able to do what he did this year with the running game he had. From a ravens fan, I’d rather see y’all in the playoffs than us fr. Congrats on this season, I called y’all the orioles of this season and it really showed!!

Probably the most memorable season I can ever remember being a lifelong Lions fan, since the Barry era in the 90s. It was an absolute blessing to watch this team grow right in front of my eyes into a super competitive YOUNG WINNING football team! Props to Sheila Hamp for staying the course. The next 3 to 4 year so Detroit Lions football will lead to a Championship, I can feel it. Dan Campbell is special. He is the Lions coaching version of Sparky Anderson, Chuck Daly, and Scotty Bowman! Look out NFL..the LIons are coming.....it's not the light at the end of the tunnel...but a FREIGHT TRAIN HEADED YOUR WAY!!! GO LIONS!!!!

Some of his quotes from Hard Knocks were legendary … ‘It’s time to sharpen your sticks and put on your F’n war paint maann!!!’’ So great to read about good vibes from long standing Lions fans, bring on 23/24!!!

Everyone was waiting for this video to drop! What a great game, and great turnaround of a season. The foundation has been laid - the defense has impact rookies and the offense was easily top 10. As a die hard Seahawks fan I can't thank the Lions team enough. Brought so much damn happiness to my day yesterday. And it is always amazing to see the underdog win, especially in Lambeau. It felt like a battle of good vs. evil, with good prevailing for once. Lions are most definitely on the road to success and I can't help but cheer for them. They're easily the most likable team in the league right now and deserve everything that's coming. Thank you!!!!

I gotta say what a cool moment this was to be able to watch the locker room celebration. As a 49ers fan, going against Jared Goff twice a year when he was on the Rams, I am really impressed with his play and improvement. This makes me think that Sean Mcvay did not use him to the best of his abilities. Dude is a solid QB and This offense will be scary next year . And Jamaal was awesome for my fantasy team this year that dude is a beast. This team is going to be a force to be reckoned with for the foreseeable future.

Congratulations Coach. You delivered on your promise and made the Lions a serious contender for next season. Beating the Pack was a huge psychological wall to overcome. With the upcoming draft and everyone comfortable with the system, the Lions will be the talk of the town. Hats off to the defense. You guys did it the right way.

I am 32 now and my brother and I live 1000 miles apart but this still has been such an awesome season for us to bond over because of this team, coach and heart. I have been a fan of this team since my Grandfather took me to my first Lions game in 1972. I was at our one and only playoff game in 1991. I can honestly say there has never been a Lions Team in all that time that I absolutely felt more Love and Respect for then this Team right now. Thank you Sheila Hemp, Dan Campbell, Brad Holmes, And to Every player on this team who put their heart and souls into every game. ❤️. GO Lions !!!!!

Giving a game ball to Sheila Ford Hamp was special to me. The hate for the ford's is strong and rightly so. But she seems to be from a different mold. And actually invested in seeing this team Thrive. Those three, Sheila, Brad, and Dan seem to be the perfect combination and perfect team. I'm so happy they have shown her faith in them was the right choice. She's the one that ended the fat pirate Era and brought us into what may very well be our most competitive one yet. And we are just getting started. All that's left is to get rid of the damn wcf patches. Then we will be the Brand New Lions! (BNL)

Love that Campbell gave a game ball to Sheila. She really doesn't get the credit she deserves. How she wants this team to be THE team in the NFL, the fact she hired Brad Holmes and Dan Campbell because she knew they could be the GM and coach to lead Det to places it hasn't been to in the Super Bowl era. And the vote of confidence she gave in them after starting 1-6. The other Ford owners were content to let this team get mollywhopped each and every year, and she had enough of that.
