The aim of PG Diploma is to offer social workers across agencies, settings, and roles within adult services, knowledge about core concepts of delivering care to people living with life-limiting or life-threatening illness and supporting informal caregivers both pre and post bereavement.
The course has been developed in collaboration with a Management Board consisting of partners from the statutory and voluntary sector across Ireland, members of the European Association of Palliative Care Social Work Task Force, the All-Ireland Institute for Hospice and Palliative Care, Voices for Care, and the NISCC.
