This month's First Friday release is a fresh take on one of my favorite compositions I've written for my trio Postlude: Houston
I wrote this tune on the last leg of my one-year tour with Rush in Houston. The road life of a touring musician forms amazing bonds with other people, but towards the end, I was feeling the bittersweet feeling of knowing that something beautiful is about to end, and stayed up that night in my hotel room writing this piece.
This may be the most fun I've ever had playing this piece and huge thanks to Michael and Christopher for breathing such life into the music.
