This Postman Pat video was first released on Monday 3rd March 1986 by St. Michael’s Video Library on behalf of BBC Video.

4. Postman Pat Takes a Message
This video would later be re-released by BBC Video with a slightly different cover on Monday 6th June 1988 as “Postman Pat’s Big Video” and it would be the only Postman Pat video to have the BBC Video Globe ident. It would be re-released again with the same name and another slightly different cover on Monday 6th July 1992 and again on Monday 4th January 1993 with new content and the 1991-1997 BBC Video ident.
