15 million hours they cut is what’s delaying the service. We need the time to deliver, management cuts time and delays mail intentionally and curtails mail. These orders are coming from District. You all will keep receiving mail not on time, delayed significantly, because DeJoy and managers under his orders are cutting hours.

You need to ask him how much the USPS pay daily in express mail refunds because under Dejoy's plan, they cannot guarantee their delivery promise anymore. The mail delays are happening across the country. Most plants are submitting false data to force these plants to close. Postmaster General Dejoy needs to be fired immediately and the services need to be returned back to the servicing plants..

What in the heck will we accomplish with this hearing. Dejoy is totally dysfunctional, discombobulated and could care less. He's been there four years and accomplished absolutely nothing making over $350,000 a year. This committee can do nothing they never do. Bills are still late, mortgages are over due and paychecks are God knows where.

The #1, and only problem is the at the Post Office refused to staff its offices. The reason mail is delayed is because they are trying to eliminate employees who are actually needed. If they would just get smart and hire however many people that are needed to process the mail and deliver it, there would be no problem. Dejoy even admitted it in this hearing. He said “we stopped hiring”. This is why the service has devolved

Newsflash. Mailcarriers are not in electric trucks!! We are in non air-conditioned vehicles in 115 and up degree weather. Some are sick and dying from heat !! So as a mailcarrier Im unsure where the money is going !😢😢

When he talks about taking 10 facilities in a location to emerging it into one, he’s talking about saving money on trips to those facilities for the postal service but asking their employees to foot the bill commuting to the new plant. Where I live that turns my 10 minute commute into 45 mins on average weather days. No wonder they have a staffing problem at these new hubs. Employees are saying no, retiring or outright quitting because we can’t even hire new employees appropriately. We can’t compete with what McDonald’s is offering let alone what you would say a competitor like UPS does. This plan will ruin what was a dependable service

Non career turn over rate is crazy. We actually pay for back ground check, academy training and regular training. Then the job isnt easy so people know they can go elsewhere and make just as much with less work. Putting them in a career position gives them a little more to actually want to stay working for the company. I worked over 9 years as a non career before I was switched over and that is just ridiculous for the slavery job we do.

That is a lie about getting the mail a day early. A lot of it is already late when it gets to our processing facility.

I’m a postal mail handler in Jacksonville fl,and the whole management is totally incompetent about what is going on each day, getting tons of junk sorry marketing mail stacking pallets all over and getting overwhelmed by Florida direct mail, handled by a broken mail feeder system with little or no maintenance each day, such a sad state here

The Public needs to get involved! Please support your mail carriers! Look into the true reasons as to why you do not receive mail or it is delayed. We have a union but it is very hard when several National Union reps wont even stand up for their own members, they are too busy getting in good with Management for personal gain. Contract is expired, and under negotiations for over a year now. We need open bargaining, and we need to get rid of Dejoy, Renfroe and all the cronies! If the public knew exactly what management does to its employees such as falsifying Heat training, overworking employees old and new, to the point someone passes away, changing clock rings, all for metrics. The list goes on! We need a fighting NALC at the national level like it used to be! We do not need a Union President who harasses women, nor who is a alcoholic (pending charges). Do your research! Speak up for your carriers!

For example: I mailed my property tax payment on March 28th to the county seat 6 miles away. The letter went all the away to Palmetto, Ga. 110 miles away then boomeranged back and was received by the tax office on April 4th 7 days later. This is FUBAR!

Rand Paul should work for the post office as a non carrier employee for a week and let’s see if he would stay on knowing he has no union representation meaning management can treat them like dogs and give them amounts of mail and expect them to make it in the time they give them or they are fired. Second, see if he will put up with animals attacking them and people hating him because he’s sending bills. The turnover rate because non carriers don’t want to work in rain and heat is also crazy. De joy is actually doing better by making carriers career employees faster because now they have a career to look forward to, rather than a JOB.

The problem is the knowledgeable management have all retired & the new management has no training or knowledge to make smart decisions. There was a mass hire of supervisors with no time in the postal service & horrible work ethics and now it's backfiring. They don't train new hires, nor is there any accountability. Many should never have become career employees because of poor work ethics & attendance. The postal service has lost so much respect from the public & it's sad. Never thought it would get so bad.

I say cut mail delivery to 3 or 4 times a week same pay...or not ...point is Its all bills anyway. The managers treat delivery drivers terrible.

I have delivered mail for 12 years now, and I have never seen it as bad as it is now!! For DeJoy to implement systems that are failing and want to continue to move forward with more is scary! This is people's livelihoods! Our job!! He does not care at all!

I sent a certified, registered, return receipt requested letter to an address (a business) an hour away in the same state (MA). It was returned 6 months later marked undeliverable. The owner of the business confirmed that the address was correct. I also received a check-by-mail over a year after it was mailed! Caused many legal expenses and anxiety because of these delays.

I'd appreciate a simpler way to "opt out" of coupons and advertisement to my home. Possibly reducing such mail would enable the post office to focus on the important deliveries.

His plan is a good plan to get the postal service generating money instead of losing it. The real problem is you have a lot of people in higher level jobs that are not smart enough to scrub a toilet, because of the promotion process they have in place.

Never received my W2 form Retrieve the copy so I could get my taxs done. Solution body cam for postal service deliveries and cameras in Side facilities. My packages and mail tends to disappear in Raleigh and Durham NC postal centers. I always ask shippers to not use USPS after so many losses and “return to sender” packages (before they were ever delivered)

And if they would allow the rural carriers to actually get credit for all the years that they worked for free, you would get rid of all of this heavy elderly Costly carriers and hire new younger and fit. Employees, if we, the elderly were allowed to retire. I am a rule Carrier for the United States Postal Service. And I have been a Carrier for 20 years but only 6 years count towards my retirement and at present. I have to work another 10 years to retire. I am 60. That makes no sense.

Yes sure Senator Paul , we all wanna use one of the poorest states in the country as an example of what the rest of us should be doing to be successful .. Kentucky ranks 3rd in the country on federal $ dependency.. A postal worker gets 1% a year for every year we work in this place.. You work 40 years which many of us have too and you get 40% of your base pay high 3 average , it’s not an overly generous pension for what you give up to work there .. crazy hours, weekends don’t matter, if you have a family emergency or are sick you will be harassed and retaliated against etc.. it’s in a downward spiral and it’s not the workers that are doing it, we put up with a lot and don’t get much in return but a steady job and now that’s in jeopardy

The Communities are left in the dark concerning Postal Services. Sometimes, our Mailperson will deliver our mail until 11pm or whenever the incoming mail arrives, this is happening in Compton, California.

If they want to cut costs. They need to do a nationwide audit on how the mail is being transported to processing plants and how to create more direct routes. There is no need for my package that was mailed from Albuquerque, nm to go to new york from Georgia before it comes to wv.
