I just made this a few months ago for my coworker Santo's 56th birthday. We worked in a French bakery together and he really misses desserts that he had growing up in Mexico. Last year I made him milhojas which is his favorite, so I had a hunch he'd like this. It was amazing and honestly I think it tastes better than milhojas. Another friend of mine is doing a Dia de Los Muertos party for his birthday and I was thinking of making this, do you think it would work for that occasion?
