The padded room for being honest with your therapist? I had brain surgery for depression but my regular doctor (psychiatrist) was on maternity leave while I was recovering. Somehow I was assigned to this very alarmist type. The surgery doesn’t work right away, it takes at least 3 months. This guy was total freaking out after my first appointment with him. I had mentioned that I was still passively suicidal (I got surgery for treatment resistant depression, it should not be news that I am depressed). He called my parents, was ready to have me admitted… The rest of the time my doctor was out I would just placate the sub. It was ridiculous 😂!
