Lot of pain here; lot of overcoming it too. Good luck to anybody who's hurting out there; it can get better.

I am someone who has been classified from an early age as "neurodivergent", although that wasn't really a term used so loosely until relatively recently. I find a couple things interesting, like how people classify themselves as neurodivergent seems to shame those who are "neurotypical" with sarcasm, or "wouldn't YOU like to know how it is" type comments, when really people in our own position have been longing for tolerance and understanding all along. And... How the hell do we even know what "neurotypical" is anymore, when these days, half the people we know are on some kind of mood pills to make them more typical, because being on pills makes you typical, which means that most people AREN'T, or at least THINK they aren't enough to want to get on some PILLS?! I'm sorry, and I'll spare my personal details, but..."neurodivergent" has gotten thrown around way too much.
