Thanks for doing these videos Glen . I have been having golf lessons with the Pro at my local golf club . He is showing me much the same things that you are saying so love to rewatch your videos and try and hone the technique .
Excellent demonstration Glen on how to maintain the proper spine angle in the swing. Although I try not to rise up on my downswing, I'm sure I do because of erratic shots that show up during my round. I like your suggestion at the end to cock the head sideways in a downward fashion to help the spine angle. One of the drills that I have initiated is to try and duplicate a "hockey players slap shot!" This helps to keep that rear shoulder down throughout the downswing. Good Job Glen! Always enjoy your input!!!
@@AussieGolfPros it's been too wet to play lately but chomping at the bit. I practiced this drill and then took it to the range yesterday and boy has it helped! awesome, thanks Glen.
Great video Glen, I was told the exact statement last week but not told how to fix it. You have made it simple for old guys like me to understand. A question my hero Peter Senior seems to [stand up] when he hits the ball generating lot of power which I try to duplicate is this a good thing?
Thank you for your comments and question David. Early extension is a challenging problem to try to eliminate. Regarding Peter Senior and his ‘lift’, it happens after impact. It’s a little unorthodox but we see idiosyncrasies with many tour professionals. At impact, Senior is still in pretty good posture. Cheers
