My mom has made this multiple times. I loved its taste so much that I told her to send me the link, that's how I'm here now commenting. She does the steps a bit differently. She'll pressure cook whole potatoes and then peel the skins off and cut into pieces and sauté them in oil and then keep it aside then add the onions to the oil and tomatoes and other spices mentioned here and then adds the sauteed potatoes. Recipe is same just the steps altered a bit to suit her convenience. But the taste is amazing. If you make this once, you'll make this many times. I've had this with chappathis and also with dosa. It tastes awesome even with dosa. At least to me it is. Even if you don't have capsicum at hand, you can still make it. 😋😋😋
@@AJ-pj3yu I don't think so. Some dishes are meant to be eaten with chappathis and rotis. It may be okay but I don't think it will taste as good with rice.

I do agree there is no audio in this vid.yet step by step instructions r doing the job.Trust me this recipe is super awesome. I could never imagine capsicum can taste soooo goooood.i make capsicum potato using onion tomatoes but the initial dry mixture makes marvellous difference. I wud definitely recommend u do try out.ITS A VERY SELF EXPLANATORY VDO. ALL THE BEST TO U
tried a variation of this yesterday with ingredients i can actually buy in my region. was delicious. The roasted nut mixture will stay in my repertoire from now on. I made to much of it and mixed the rest with honey and kumquat zests for my breakfast cereals. Great stuff!
What with so many interesting comments and great responses from you, and what with my husband telling me he wants a potato and capsicum recipe, I’ve gone ahead and subscribed and will be trying your recipe out tomorrow, but as everyone said, I loved the fact that the amount of oil added was less and the result seemed great, I’m only worried if the potatoes will cook sufficiently, well, anyway,I’ll know when I make it tomorrow, but thanks for the recipe
