Nigella doesa cheats Roasted potatoes ... they work well albeit a bit small

Hi Steve! I can never get my hashbrowns to turn out to my liking. I fry in butter. They turn out rather mushy, not crispy like a hashbrown should be. You made some potato dishes that I have never heard of before and they really looked good. Your corned beef dish reminded me of Shepherd's Pie -- one of my favorite dishes! I really like the decorative look that piping sleeve gives the dish. I've never used one of those before. I just might give those potato croquettes a go. They looked like big tater tots. Do you know what those are? Do you have any more potato dishes to show?
Tater tots, very similar to croquettes, Debs. Probably the same in another tongue LOL. Maybe dry the potatoes a bit longer and have the pan a bit hotter for crunchy HBs? All done with spuds now LOL Onions next!
When I film in my food studio (used to be the spare bedroom LOL) I use 2 cameras and do a voice-over. If you watch the start of my latest potato reveal video you'll see how I sync everything together so that when I edit the footage does not end up like a Chinese Kung Fu movie 😂 I have to do the voice-over as the cooking sounds are too loud. I do like the posh cousin recipe...yum Mom called them scalloped potatoes too! Onions sound great next. I have a ton of celery so that would be appreciated too....I get stuck after my cream of celery soup.
