My Oma is from Austria and I’ve always appreciated learning more about my Austrian heritage! My Oma always makes potato salad for family get togethers.💖

Adding chicken stock was new to me. I'll give it a try because my salad usually a bit dry. Thank you! I often add chopped celery stalks, pickles or herbs into it.

I grew up in Russia, and our potato salad is more like yours. My mom made it with tons of dill and that’s how i do it now. Plus I love dill! Sometimes my mom added diced fresh cucumbers , and that was very delicious and provided a nice textural difference. Fun fact: Russian word for potatoes must derive from German, because it sounds exactly like yours reads. I had no idea 😀

I’m from Stuttgart your potato salad is very similar to ours. I do use Maggi in mine.
