Real question... About 25 years ago when I would get the random pimple, I'd just put a dab of toothpaste (white kind, not the Blue or clear ones) on it and by morning it was gone. Is that a thing or am I just weird?
Toothpaste has drying ingredients, so it works in that sense but it has ingredients that aren't supposed to be left on your skin either. A pimple patch or cream is formulated to be safe left on the skin so they are preferable.
Thanks a lot for the information. Here in Panamà a lot of people believe in that kind of medicines.... For example, to stop a bleeding, some people are used to pour grinded (ground) coffee on the wound.
On the upside you could introduce fresh new bacteria to open skin. So there's that. Food goes bad in four hours at room temperature. Probably faster at body temperature.
