More than anything else, I'd like to purge that sad-sackery that pretends there's no way out of this mess. There are many, we just need to find one that works well enough to gain viral traction. RU-vid doesn't do what it does particularly well, nor is it extremely feature/function-rich, nor does it have great customer service towards viewers or content creators, nor does it use its algorithms as well as it could to lead people to the content they're most likely to enjoy... it drops the ball in nearly every respect. It's just become the only game in town, due to force of habit. Find something engaging and interesting enough to start creating *new* habits, and a challenger is born... and YT will eventually collapse under its own sickly inertia.
You're right in a sense that it means leaving the public square. But, things are changing, and BitChute is growing. Also JewTube shouldn't even be considered a platform anymore. They should be considered publishers. I'd love to see lawmakers do something about this fact. But wish in one hand and shit in the other, see which one gets full first.@Far Rightist
I'm addressing this comment because I hope you get an alert to a response. Get with Vox Day. He is rough around the edges but he is successfully fighting a crowd funding site that screwed him over. Thanks, Marco.
It's hard to paint a masterpiece when you're constantly worried about the canvas it's painted on. You do great work, keep it up. We'll always follow you on BitChute.
Damn I didn't know that fact. I live in US so I can access it for now. JewTube and big tech's influence knows no national boundaries apparently.@Der Gorghast
@der gorghast in a way, that's a good sign, as it means, bitchute isn't controlled by the psychopathic monsters yet :D and given, that vpns cost money, i'd suggest people to use the torbrowser to access blocked content, not as fast as a vpn, but it works. as gratis vpns aren't an option, as they sell all your information.
@Pavor Yes you can't harass people in public (for example shouting). Why do you bring this up? That's technically government restricted speech, but not what people mean by free speech of course. He was talking about Governments... And we can only wonder what would have he thought about our cituation: Should we demand freedom of speech from Powers which can through censorship and speech/thought policing have a serious impact on the politcal landscape globally? (And the censorship is in this case highly one directional) I mean I have my own thoughs on what he would have answered...
@Pavor our 2nd amendment gives our 1st amendment teeth. We have more firearms than all other countries combined. Your going to need alot more than luck disarming us
@Pavor No he wasn't. And people always claim the "It's just about the government REEEEE" excuse when it serves their needs, but not in other cases. Free speech is two things. It is a _legal concept_, but it is also a _philosophical concept_ that transcends laws and goes straight to social mores. It's about much more than a court legally silencing Hill, it's about us as a societee of green not to unjustly silence people or attempt to monopolize and sensor the public sphere for our own individual or political agendas. This is a concept as old common and in fact probably even older then the legal standard as it appears in the 1st amendment. Going back all the way to the root of Western civilization, and ancient Greece and Rome. And you know what, despite the fact that you play dumb - and very convincingly so - I think you already know this.
As a user, it's apparent that your assertion about YT wanting to be the replacement for TV is correct. I'm a viewer, not a creator, but I'm aggravated by the platform's algorithm.
The RU-vid ban is driving people to the Right to see what’s being banned. Then they see we have the answers and are hooked. It’s like Adult warnings on music in the 1990’s. Kipper Gore tried to stop children from listening to adult music but it was just the Albums you went out and bought with your friends to see what they were saying.
@@DarrenSemotiuk 2 years on... still there...nearly each and every 'popular' YT channel is a constructed illusion of the pied piper's making - sorting the wheat from the chaff, facts from spin, is how it is.
What you're discussing here is exactly what's sorely needed now especially nearly two years after you uploaded this video. Something that rarely happens on RU-vid happened about seven minutes into this video. It began buffering and buffering and buffering. I had to restart my phone in order to finish watching the video. Wouldn't be surprised if RU-vid built that into the video on purpose. The trouble with these alternative platforms is that they are user-unfriendly because they cannot use the type of software which RU-vid has socked in as being proprietary. There is going to have to be a standoff between forces at Arms. That's why we still are where we at are at now
Thanks for the video Asha and providing some hope and direction to the sinking ship known as RU-vid . It was a pleasure to hear from you . I hope you have a beautiful weekend , may God bless you abundantly!♥️
That image at 3:27 is breathtaking. It's the Matterhorn mountain of the Alps that divides Italy and Switzerland, overlooking the Swiss town of Zermatt to the north and the Italian town of Breuil-Cervinia to the South. To the east, the mountain harbors a pass that has been used as a trade route since the Roman Era. The natural beauty of Europe intertwined with it's people and culture create a unique place that is closest we'll ever get to paradise. We can't let this fade into darkness.
Perfect. I posted this idea several times during the last weeks. - it should be open source to prevent the algorithms to be manipulated without our knowledge - it needs some sort of login/identification of the user to collect a profile, like, dislike, interaction etc (anonymous is ok but we need to know a profile to create a recommendation feed) - the recommendation feed can point to all sorts of documents (html, pdf, mp3, mp4...) - it can be best combined with a global comment section (hello dissenter by gab :-) - it could be build into a browser which supports privacy online and search engines like duckduckgo (hello tor/brave/dissenter :-) If tor becomes the technology of choice: - the infrastructure and database could run on tor hosts - in this case an option for (unobstrusive) advertising based on an anonymous crypto currency should be build in and income should go to the tor hosts and the creators to create an incentive to setup more tor hosts and strengthen the tor network - even though freedom is the basic idea the advertising network would still need a restriction. If too many people think an ad is inappropriate the flagging should take it down ... without such a feature the network would run into very ugly ads... Thank you Asha Logos! It's good you give this idea some reach!
Schlafes Bruder seems to me that what we are collectively looking for is an RSS protocol as it were, that handles the video content. Can’t the existing tech behind that be leveraged in some way to accomplish this, I wonder?
Oh YUCK! I can't watch Kimmel, Colbert, Cooper, Cuomo, MadCow & similar for more than a few minutes.. sometimes not even that long! Oh well.. RIP RU-vid!
One cannot play a RU-vid channel from oldest to newest, if a new platform had that ability, combined with not playing already watched and the ability to batch upload... I think RU-vid could be ousted.
This is a fantastic idea! It solves the problem of content being spread too thin, especially as more video hosting sites come up. I can help the cause with photography and video, but programming is not my battle. I hope that the right person hears this and runs with it! I love your positive attitude in a dark world.
Asha, would you be interested in some original music for future productions? I have a lot of unused ambient and instrumental tracks that might work nicely for what you do.

This is some shit you use the dm for. You don't think 500 of us also make ambient and synth and digital music? Why don't you blast it to the whole world and give everyone free music?
This is a great idea. It somewhat eases the issue alternative video hosts face, mainly that the volume of people using the platform is low. Most viewers of political content only use bitchute if a creator has been banned entirely, or a specific video gets deleted from youtube and must be watched elsewhere. With this, everyone could simply use this one site, if a creator only uploads on youtube they could still see it there and simply click the link, but if a video or whole creator is available also or exclusively on alternative platforms it'd be easily viewable as well without going to multiple sites .Some could even choose to always avoid the youtube version and go with an alternative option if they can, or simply watch on an alternative and then like and comment on youtube to boost the channel in the algorithm at the same time, so the creator gets more spread on large platforms and the alternative's traffic is boosted at the same time. Certain more advances features like a subscribe option or even algorithms to recommend content on the proposed platform itself would be great if doable, all it really needs to be is a regularly updated indexed link aggregator, it could even rely only on link submissions by users, with links simply listed under author and title: creator uploads a video, random kind viewer simply goes and adds all the links to the site itself. This option would require moderation and a system for reporting incorrect, erroneous, or dead links, though. Ultimately I think this would be very feasible, although I have only limited experience in coding myself. I'd recommend putting out a direct call for people interested in working on the project and establishing a direct communication forum or server on some service where brainstorming and eventually the project itself can be organized.
I am a gen 1 internet user, who used to do all my investigative work via Usenet. You are exactly right on our next steps being something that isn't obvious, through the lens of the currently existing platform.
It's a good idea you're giving us here. I think that people check out these other video hosting websites and then give up on them because of the low traffic. If a program or website exists that lumps them all together, and people can find what they are looking for, traffic will find it's way to these alternate platforms and their reliance on RU-vid will be less and less. I think it would need to be a link hosting type of place where videos are embedded to keep things like searches and comments consistent so people can become familiar and comfortable with the interface. It can start with a phone app and go from there. This can be the answer.
Great job brother! Life is so brief. Lets make the most of it people. No time to crawl in the corner sucking our thumbs in the fetal position. We all have something to offer, just do "your" best. Leave a positive legacy for future generations.
Wonderful concept. Only problem: ...if _thing_ is not profitable, then _thing_ shall fail. This is merely a fact of life. A way to profit must be built into the concept, or there is zero incentive for anyone to innovate.
Wanted to say you have been a help in managing the red pill rage, your content was able to bring clarity when my impulsive thoughts were "If only the things they claim Germany did, actually _did_ happen." Not sure if it's you clam and soothing voice, the content, both of them maybe, I don't know, but it's been a help.
I think all of these alternatives need to join forces share info and ideas and start a new one together collectively. Let’s be real all of them lacking something that makes them unusable. I’ve signed up for most about a year ago and just can’t get myself to use it because they are all poorly designed. Don’t make it complicated just mimic RU-vid for UX/UI and it should be fine. Changes and updates can come later with voting from the community. The key is coming together instead of each man for himself trying to create an alternative to make it big.
This sounds like a very great idea; an add-on that will suggest links of the same video to different sites can help others click on other options instead of RU-vid. I do not know how to code, but I am aspiring to be one in the near future. I can imagine BitChute growing later, but first we have to promote it to the mainstream... If Google doesn't kill it. I'd like to go on more about how BitChute could improve and grow, but that's not subject to the video. The add-on sounds great for any back-up links in this time where most content creators cannot voice a different opinion than the one RU-vid intends to give.
Asha , you are doing a wonderful job . Dont give up . You will succeed . I wish I had the skills to offer but unfortunately mine lie in the field of inventive technology and apiculture . Im hungry for your next doc . Hope you get things sorted fast .
Decoupling the content host from the content creator and his power over his own content will be key to remove the censoring power of authoritarian governments and companies. Besides being a catalog for consumers (and also decoupling their interactions and comments from the video hosting sites), for content creators it can be a window from where they can automatically publish to multiple hosts. This is currently done for uploading files to multiple file hosts, but it quite easily extends to video. I totally agree with your idea.
The minute I saw the title I knew it was exactly what I was wondering about not too long ago. What if we made a place where you could view all the normal youtube content along with free speech content? An unrestricted youtube of sorts. Link to youtube's original videos from that site, but also host anyone that wishes to post in the interest of freedom of information. It would be a place where you could stay up to date on popular mainstream content while also being able to see opinions of more outcast ideas.
They have us under surveillance at every level and point of the WWW. We don't only need a DB. We need our own Internet, own IDR and WHosting, own CPUs, own OS and apps.
Sounds like a GREAT IDEA. Youve captured the jist of what makes youtube so indespencsable, that being people are lazy and or get new computers and watch on different platforms; tablets phones , desktops, smart tvs etc and youtube makes it easy in that i no longer need to remeber and catalgue 43 different content creators websites and navigate there on a reg basis to see if theres new content then watch it.
Had the same idea... All we need is an indexing search database of links. Content creators can update it as new work becomes available. Decentralised! Flexible! Doesn't require huge expensive server farms!
Roku has a phenomenal search feature that seems to match what you're describing. It searches all independent and small channels along with larger channels.
It's an interesting problem indeed. You are right, there is nothing special or difficult about RU-vid... Just a bunch of video files connected with a search algorithm. But it illustrates the power of numbers and habit and branding. What if popular creators just post video 'trailers' on RU-vid to promote their content but which don't get censored, and then link to the actual videos on other sites, such as bitchute?
Excellent video, excellent idea - I'm also glad to see that the majority of your videos have either been "allowed" back on YT, or that you at least made them public again. This content is too important to critical thinking. Keep up the good work!
I am in shock that I am living in this decisive time , thanks for the ability you have to help us whiteness it in the right way . You bring so much hope 🙏🏻.
EmittingSight never has there been more subversion of the public, now on a “global” scale . In 1948 Orwell created a horror sci-fi we are now living . Even your comment is postmodern suggesting the truth is personal perspective. Also did you type it in your hand ? Live time from what country? This time is new to humanity. It’s not perspective it’s truth vs power .
This sound great - especially the way other sites that do not censor are rewarded with more views. I almost feel a bit guilty using RU-vid. I hope the right people are listening.
Excellent! Further, a simple online registry where creators post links and details -- but not just video links: blogs, facebook, minds, whatever. Let users subscribe to the creators who get an ID and password from the site. Track the likes from our users. Support comments, perhaps using gab/discord. This is a very simple and obvious concept, strange I cannot find it already existing somewhere.
This might sound strange but anyone familiar with the fan sub community in Anime already knows this model. Anime streaming websites will post updates on series and post a variety of links to different third-party video hosting websites where the episode listed can be found and embeds the link to video for streaming on the listing website.
I agree with Asha that introducing problems causing a shutdown of innovation before it really starts is a terrible thing. We in the west are 'problem solvers'. I don't know where it originated, but the phrase 'if you don't have anything nice to say, say nothing' also can extend itself in work and political arenas in that, if you don't have a solution to the problem, don't complain. Come to the table with a solution to the problem or nothing. This is the creed of our people. Of course it's waters have been muddied by Hegelian dialect. In the past (pre hollywood, maybe pre TV, pre Internet), if a member of your community would just complain about stuff, he would not be seen as worthy and be shamed/ousted. We, collectively, or rather those before us have forfeited control of the systems. They have shown that they can take control of our domains, shut down hosting, and block traffic to said domains/websites/content. I like the idea of a catalog that can find Creators Content but I fear that it can be shutdown easily. 1 way to circumvent this is to host this 'catalog' to a WebHost off controlled opposition soil. One would need to pick a database engine, a server code language to crawl 'names' or 'hashes' of the videos of different video site sources which will need to be updated multiple times a day at least, and use form/query language to return search terms to video sources.
Yes. TV 2.0. This is _exactly_ what I said in my post on your last video. People are so caught up in the social politics of the thing, that they forgot this is all just about money in the end.
If a “go fund me” page was set up to raise the funds needed to attract the right person to drive such a project, I’m sure an idea like this will bloom. If you have a talent you should be rewarded and no one forgets we live in a market place. However we all know greed is ugly.
I've been brewing a similar idea for some time now. Originally thought about an overlay for RU-vid which referenced a database of unlisted videos and included them in the feed, but the idea has grown as the situ has. One single multiplatform video aggregator would be perfect.
I have a concept that can either be pursued in group effort by the censored community as a whole, or one day I will take it upon myself to fund it. A platform that fills the roles of video hosting, live streaming, and social media platforms, but it is decentralized -- ran similar to crypto currency (it will also potentially have a digital asset behind it). There are some people trying to do something similar, but the problem is, as far as I can see, they always still hold the key. Much like bitcoin, once created with a solid enough foundation, the key must be thrown out so no one can control or destroy it.
LBRY and BitChute are good enough(vaguely descentralized but using both will mitigate the centralization concerns). New platforms would use the same exact technologies - a programmable blockchain with wallet/video-player like LBRY or a torrent client like BitChute. For centralised platforms - Vimeo is still the better platform for creators, but youtubers don't want to play for high quality hosting and monetization is less obvious. There's also Floatplane if you trust the guys over at Linus Media.
How apropos, this is exactly the concept I have been thinking about lately. It would entail the creators creating videos in a common format that this interface would deal with. Maybe standard mp4's. It could have features like skip 10sec which people have been craving. Maybe for $20 per year one could skip commercials with a button to bring in some revenue, some going to the content creators, some to the Service. Having a good search feature would be important. The sad thing is ultimately we will have to have our own ISPs as they will start banning websites altogether, kind of like chase bank canceling customer accounts because they are conservative pundits. But this would be a good interim fix. It would be nice to find a billionaire with balls who is not part of the tribe, because they will keep one upping and buying us out us with fiat money, assuming we can't get some kind of law passed to protect freedom of speech from them. Thus, I think a parallel path of political domination of freedom fighters is absolutely critical too, perhaps all the content creators could be part of this "movement". A "channel" devoted to freedom American style.
I'm sure that will happen even sooner that we all expected. BitChute is awesome alternative, and i hope independent creators will go there, since most of creators that I watch, learn from, and respect are already there and banned, deplatformed, demonetized, or harassed from YT and others, like FB, Twitter ( the usual suspects ) in some other way. I ask everyone of you, public and creators that you don't wait for YT to decide when the game is over. Leave now and fuck YT. It looks like YT is on the path that ASHA already pointed out really well. Peace and love from Slovenia.
It already exists and it is called LBRY. Please note it is in it's humble primitive stages and is far from perfect, but what they have so far is great!
@@halasimov1362 too much abuse on Steemit. I can't even post there now, I got censored for not conforming to group-think. But yes minds I agree is good, but their video length limits are severely limited. BitChute and BitTube are also good. But LBRY is a bit special and does a lot more than the others. I suggest people investigate what I mean by that, because I'd have to type a book otherwise. lol .. I will do a video about it eventually though. :)
wile were plugging good ideas intended a computer / QE scalar hospital. I still have to build it, but I have fully functioning components and software already at work, removing cancers and diseases for free. just in case you wanted to help wit that xD This sounds amazing. Prayers and opes for your plans brother.
I cancelled my youtube account and the migration to BitChute is gratifying but also a sad exile. I listen to my favorite creators all day at work but now I can't because the audio stops when the screen is off. I would gladly pay BitChute 50 bucks for this feature
I’ve had similar ideas about how to preserve & organize content. I thought the Dewey decimal system could be a great way to do this because it’s free of human created algorithms and would be 100% unbiased. All it would take is rudimentary knowledge of the numbering system and over time, it would get stronger and more Complex. This would need to be built as an open source global project. Silicon Valley would go nuts trying to shut it down or buy it. This could be internet 2.0
Asha... Eric D's video isn't just a compilation video, you have to watch until the END!!! Get on LBRY!!! LBRY is a DECENTRALIZED BLOCKCHAIN VIDEO PLATFORM!! Get ON IT! I just found out about the platform after watching the video's end and downloaded it! I was looking for your mirrored channel but couldn't, it's so easy, they even have a mirrored option to directly mirror your youtube channel with a push of a button. Please check it out!! Someone else linked one of your videos but you should link YOUR WHOLE CHANNEL!!!
"Cognitive Dissonance" just an intellectual term that works to remove the inescapable experience that everyone, without exception, undergoes through the process of integration into this world subsequent to being born into it. It's the pride-full, self-righteous, worldly-conforming, worldly-confirming, worldly-ADAPTING IDentity which ADOPTS the ways and beliefs OF the world in order to be somebody, to become somebody, to be understood, respected, and have access to gaining attention for what we want (the pleasures) and what we seek to avoid (the pressures). This fake, role-playing, and lying mask is what grows on all of us as we all engage the world. It is the image we portray as 'it' appears to work for all of us in order to 'go along to get along' from the day of our conscious desire; the mimicking and mirroring that we all engage to fit into this world. "IT" becomes who we believe, thinking, we are. As we believe in our hearts we are through which we all respond to the issues, circumstances, and relationships which are all in and OF the world's ways and beliefs. This is what being "lost" is, "it" is the carnal mind, "it" is the beastly act which is emotionally vulnerable, susceptible, and subject to an auto-response out of the interactions with what we believe to be pleasures that seek, needing, to avoid the pressures and resentments which collect, foster, and fester continually in our minds and hearts making us subjects to inexplainable, horrific, responses out of the thousands of resentments which can manifest triggering murder as we look back and wonder what happens to us, at times. Describing the ills of evil while pointing to the endless successions, versions, and forms of their innumerable manifestations will do nothing for becoming free of the doubt, worry, and fear that work together to produce a reaction that besets us with irritations, frustration, and aggravation which set us up for reacting in the same, like-manner, in the most evil of ways our - 'selves'. Focusing on their discovery lends more to a condition which treats others as we have been treated rather than the beliefs and understandings which expose 'it' and give way to the Way which is able to overcome 'it' from ruling in the 'holy place' of our minds and hearts. Love's Truth leads to life in the face of the walking dead which results from returning the same treatment to those who would treat us unjustly and without mercy. Evil's work through this pride-full identity leans towards responding in kind which is the purpose of pride's evil: to magnify the same in us as we fall deeper and deeper into the state of being 'lost' and without God and hope in this world. "It" seeks to replicate, confirm, and validate 'its'-'self' in us, thereby, expanding 'its' kingdom which counts the numbers which contrast with God's way which counters human wisdom and knowledge, all of which is vanity. Working, drawing, "few" out of the many who have some lukewarm, part-time, hobby-like interest in Love's Truth which gives us Light to see and understand as God's work is counter-intuitive to what a man believes to be 'right' by what his worldly-identity believes 'it' 'knows'. Being 'right' by what we 'know' without the Love of God revealing Truth for us to discern God's Good, is evil.
Counter currents tv seems to be down.. Last video was an interview on the topic of getting involved in politics and moving it further "right" so to speak. Now, I don't know where the channel went but it's no longer avaliable.👀 I sense the very real possibility of fear amongst ((them)).
Who would keep the catalog up to date? I.e. remove the dead links? If everyone can remove, the catalog would be wrecked instantly by trolls (paid or not) and if done by a program it would require lots of processing power, all of the time. It would constantly need to check the links. Similar to a search engine crawling the web constantly. And you might not need storage to host the videos themselves but the catalog needs a server and the update program needs to run somewhere. A decentralized catalog could work but is dependent on active users. Like torrents or many "crypto" initiatives. Works fine as long as you have enough active users online. But if you have a torrent with 0 hosts, and 0 peers, well you're just out of luck. Also it's not just hosting and sharing the catalog, the catalog would also need to borrow some of the users processing power for the updating. Not many people are keen of having something running on their devise using up memory and processing power like that. Sharing is fine, as torrents have proven, all decentralized things like search engines have pretty much failed so far. Finally copyrights. Sites like Pirate Bay only host links, no content but are still being held liable in many countries. And even if not hosted in those countries, the service providers are being forced to block access. Now I hate to only point out problems and no solutions but I don't have the magic bullet either. What could work, not just for videos but for everything that is being suppressed, is to literally go outside of nation states. Operate from international water. (look up "Radio Veronica"). A big server with lots of capacity, a high speed connection, located in international waters. Now we only need to find an eccentric billionaire to fund the operation.
I think the idea of a decentralized software based system of passing knowledge and wisdom would be ideal as well, like a bitcoin type distributed crypto ledger but with western classics instead of money. like the meditations, and the writings of Thomas Aquinas.
The porm industry has several different options for exactly what you are looking for. They have built web crawlers that sift through the millions of porn videos on many sites. Then compiled it for quick access to everything you're looking for. All someone has to do is change the sites that are scrutinized and instant success. Nobel prize winning idea brought to you by the people that profit from the smutt the internet is notorious for.
I see this as the video search engine acting like a traditional search engine where you can find videos, but they are not hosted by the search engine. having many video hosts and video search engine hosts would provide a space where competition on both the search engine and host side would be possible unlike currently, where instead of just making a new search engine or video host to compete with youtube, you must do both, and then convince the billions of users to go to your platform.
I do not consider your views to be extreme, not even really on the right, I would put you in the middle where most people are if they think about it. It is the minority thinkers who populate the left wing politically who have labelled free thinkers as racist, homophobic, islamaphobic (not a real word anyway) or indeed any other kind of phobe that does not align with the narrow thinking self hating, always only seeing one side to an argument, not even allowing any other opinion or truth that conflicts with their indoctrination by a minority of educators who seem to have managed to get control of institutions and corporate advertising purse strings, who then blackmail other organisations to follow the narrative or have those revenues or opportunities withheld from them. Good luck with the catalogue I think it is a marvellous idea, unfortunately I have no technical skills or financial clout (existing on a UK state pension) to assist, I can only offer my physical and moral support.. Good fortune to the project.
Awesome! I agree the pity party is over. What a wonderful idea. Time to learn something else concerning the net & computing. Even though I just found the on/off switch!😉
The solution already exists. It's an application. What you describe is already implemented by LBRY. It uses a block-chain system which holds data on where videos can be found. It essentially works like a distributed torrent tracker. The videos are stored locally, on each user's hdd. Each user becomes a seed for the videos that he has in his Library. I *strongly* encourage you to check it out and store your content on that chain too: lbry.com/
Excellent. I've had this same idea for some years now and wondered why no one actually did it. However, YT needs to get much worse than it is now because users actually start transitioning away.
