Thank you so much for doing this video. I was trying to distinguish between a Marble and a Snow Queen. This video clarified that for me so thank you again. It was also a nice touch that you went over other varieties that you currently do not have.
You might consider getting an Epipremnum Pinnatun Albo Variegata. It's so pretty especially when it get bigger. It's kinda similar to Monstera Deliciosa Albo
Wilted spinach 😂😂😂 that’s a good one and I totally agree. I bought myself a Manjula yesterday (should be receiving it next week) and am looking forward to finding a neon pothos, where I’m from it’s not so easy!
Great discription. So thoroughly precisely and ASMR like ) I would like to see Jassenia too compared to Marble queen. And why are pots really clean? I mean why not green inside after sunlight and watering.
My Snow Queen likes to drop leaves. Good thing she’s a bushy lady who’s constantly growing but it does drop more leaves than my other pothos. Its going almost all white, I wonder if it’s from the lack of chlorophyll.
Will definitely keep an eye out for the Global Green pothos. I have better luck with pothos. It kind of reminds me of the Brazilian philodendron I have that is not doing well for me. Down to one strand. Not sure if I am under or overwatering it.
Thank you 🙏 for video. I’m wish also ., if you make video about different pot. I’m see at you video different- pot for you flowers pot pathos Zlata Florida
Hi I live in Long Beach California and my marbled queen has one or two leaves with a black end to it’s leaf. Was curious to why the plant would start to create a black tip on its leaves? I watered it recently so the soil is moist
Love your pothos collection! Do you have any pothos in leca? I've been afraid to transition my pothos to leca after watching prettyinplants' issues doing it :(
I love this video. I do have a question for you. The way to water them and to propagate them are the same for all of the types of pothos or not? Thank you so much.
@@BeesHouseofPlants Actually, I found this picture that shows the diff but without more explication: cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0241/0918/7177/products/pothos-epipremnum8x10productimage_2048x2048.jpg?v=1595184277
@@myPlayList990 thank you for this picture of pothos leaves! Although, it seems my 'manjula' fits waay too many of them...? They are all beautiful, so im not worried😁
I think I got an jessina pothos by accident :D I always thougth it was a golden one because that was what it was labled at but the varigation doesn't look like it at all :D It defenitly looks like a jessina but I have never heard of it before 🙉😂
Oh yessssss the golden can revert!.that makes it a Jade. And thanks to USA they have confused up the names so much and made up their own. N JOY is considered a Snow Queen...in other parts of the real world. So much information.....sorry.
Great video and super healthy gorgeous plants! FYI Epipremnum are not epiphytes, they are terrestrial climbers ie they root in soil and use other plants to climb. Epiphytes are plants that "root on" (hook on) trees without a need for soil. Some epiphytes also climb but most don't (like orchids for example).
Richard,.i did buy the marigold queen pothos plant, im looking forward to buying the manjula pothos plant, and the jade pothos plant,.good video information 👍⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐.thanks for sharing on line!.
Yes! Pothos is my top recommendation for new plant owners. They are so easy. They are good communicators too, telling you when they want water. They are super-easy to propagate. I also read that they contain a natural rooting hormone so if you want to root another plant, add a cutting of pothos in the water with it.
I just got a Global Green pothos also. It's very cute but the variegation is sort of unstable meaning that sometimes I see it with high variegation and mine doesn't really have high variegation so it looks a bit like a reverted NJoy.
@@BeesHouseofPlants Yes one of the local nurseries here had a bunch of them. The initially thought they were reverted NJoys so they were selling them rather inexpensively.
Thanks for the definition of Pothos and Philodendron! I've a "Neon Pothos" which I've suspected to be a Philodendron due to the shape of the aerial roots which is another distinction I've heard that separates Pothos and Philodendron. The way you've explained how the leaves and stems form in the respective plants also confirms my thoughts.
I have 6 month old pothos i fell in love with pothos plants shes large plant now she lays on book shelf long enough to reach the flat screen tv. They are very hardy plants. Looks amazing if cared for right.
Wow now i know the different kinds of photos and i have 2 kinds of photos Snow Queen and Jade, i like your video very informative keep up the good work.
Richard,.i just transferred my golden pothos cutting from my mother plant to my 4"inch pot i used my plant rooting powder for the roots to take hold and grow also i added perlite for good drainage and Irrigation.and added schulz liquid plant food.good video.thanks.👍⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐.
Hi, there's also a new one been brought out a "white sport". And have you heard of a "miami blanco", blanco because there's a green version and a white, was told it's a cultivar of the marble, would be good to know if it's just another name for something else, but it does look different. There's a "glacier" that's very popular here in England that's different to any you've shown.
Thank you for such an informative video! Wow, my head is spinning! This is my second year of collecting, i just love the pothos, I have several different varieties? Not as many as you, though!... yet. 😉
The most striking leaf to me was the snow queen that was reverting. What a beautiful pattern of alternating green and speckled white. I also think the half moon leaf is very beautiful. If one appears, can you create more by propagating that leaf?
ok, a question from a novice. Im totally in love with the pothos and philo BUT cannot find all the variants in my country. So the stupid question- can i grow them from seeds? thank uuuu
