Potiphar was a head captain of the guards in Egypt, he could’ve easily had Joseph killed in any excruciating way he wanted. The fact they he just had him imprisoned showed that he just making a show for other people and that he really believed in Joseph (and later in the story Potiphar is actually mentioned again by the name of Potifara 🥸so interpret that as you will💁‍♀️

I don't know how to interpret Potifar and Potifara but you may want to elevate on it with a link to a yt video? All I understand is that Egypt is Biblical seen low and the prison in Egypt is lower, the lowest point.
