A very enjoyable day at the Potteries Apedale Rally & Running Day held on 19th May 2019. An excellent variety of buses to view and ride on. Buses operated a number of services around the area and the Apedale Railway were also running a Steam service. Something for all tastes.
Many Thanks to everyone involved.

A good turn out of buses and locos, looks like a good location for it and beneficial for both organisations.

I'm a member of Moseley Railway Trust - we run the Apedale Valley Light Railway. It was the first time POPS had their running day at Apedale and both organisations were really pleased with how it turned out. There's a good chance it'll be repeated.

I couldn't agree with you more Susan. It was an excellent event. It would be nice if this became an annual event.

8:20 I've wondered before about that slogan that Stantons of Stoke put on the back of their vehicles. Still, I suppose it's memorable

Thought that myself.

What's that yellow Bournemouth single decker that appears reversing into a parking space early on, and makes a runpast at 31:30? Is it an AEC Swift? It makes a great sound. It appears again a bit later on, but there's people in front of the number plate Ah, it's a Daimler Roadliner! I wondered if it was. Now they're very very rare

Quite nostalgic now to see the once despised NBC red, isn't it. Perhaps before long we'll feel the same about First's Barbie.

Your so right Andrei. Just looking at liveries seems to bring back memories of better times. I wonder if people will have those same feelings in years to come looking at First Barbie etc
