You're my favorite RU-vidr! I learned SO much from this post! The dupes were amazing and the color & design lessons were exceptional. Thank you so much for continuing to inspire us! Can't wait for the next one!
I enjoy your videos immensely! Thanks for doing them. Just as an fyi- the price for the blue linen pillow is $32- still a bargain. Their ad is a little misleading- the $9.99 have listed is for a sample of the material. Once you plug in a size, you can get the actual price.
Thanks for sharing dupes for this beautiful room! I love the blue and white theme and all the clever ways you found to save money and still get the look! I think it is much more interesting to have pieces sourced from multiple sources so your room doesn't end up looking like a catalog from Pottery Barn! Thanks for sharing!
This was super helpful and informative! It inspired me to take a look at some of the spaces I have been putting off decorating because of budget constraints. Thank you!
I love Pottery Barn furniture and the quality of it. Many of my videos simply explore their products and designs exclusively. Some consumers have a limited budget and avoid redecorating even though they would like to. This type of video helps them enhance the beauty of their surroundings within financial limitations.
New subscriber here. I am enjoying your content. I have dark brown leather traditional chesterfield sofas in my living room. I am struggling with decorating around the sofas. I want to make my room more modern-I think modern farmhouse is the look I should go for. Do you have an inspiration room that features dark brown chesterfields but with a modern farmhouse style? Thanks
Hi Sandy! I think you can make that work! Dark brown can definitely be a part of a Modern Farmhouse palette…so the sofa can work. I tried to find an example of this exact look and didn’t. If you have the black trim on your windowpanes….if a chandelier is possible…one of the round wrought iron chandeliers….and try to buy art that does have a little brown in it…plus throw pillows can help it blend. You could also go ultra modern with a chesterfield even though it’s traditional….take a look at the CB2 website….and this video for that type of style ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-RKvD_LGJOX4.html
I always love watching these types of videos, or sitting and looking through the seasonal PB catalogs, but I always end up thinking how unrealistic their staging is. I mean, yes it’s beautiful but why are televisions never incorporated? Is it because staging sofas and chairs around a TV would create more of a design challenge? Most everyone has a TV in their living/seating area. I just wish they would influence the sale of their products for real life.
Good point…I think the TV would be right where the mirror or work of art is over the mantle or over a modern fireplace. I’m glad you found the channel and I hope you return for future videos!
Why would anyone ever purchase a $3,000 sofa that has fabric that pills .... it’s bad enough clothing I buy these days all pill after the first wash .... thanks for the heads up ... definitely one to avoid in my opinion
