Heyo Friends,
Today's video is a KILN OPENING!
It's a cone 6 with a 5 minute hold. Most pieces are Plainsman 370 White Stoneware! Most pieces turned out great, so, I...AM...HAPPY🥳
I tried some new combos in this load. I like to throw a few new ones in every load to keep it interesting for both YOU and me.😊

Wow! Your mugs with the copper float are beautiful! Hope the pink one comes off the vase successfully! Also really love the shape and color combo of mug with ochre & pearl white. Looking forward to seeing your custom decals on some pieces! Thanks for sharing. 😊✌

Love this entire load soo much!!! Mayco just put out a video on the micro pearls and there was a lot of great information! I left a ton of comments while watching and then I had an error and it deleted them all! Ugh. I absolutely love the vase/planter with birch and cordovan!!! My favorite is the pink mug!! My gosh how gorgeous!!! I’ve never seen the green tea do that. I fire to a hot cone 6 almost 7. I don’t know what to say about refiring other than use stilts!! Great kiln load!!

Wow Audrey, what a beautiful kiln unloading! I have so many favorites it’s hard to pick one. I loved the berry bowl, the straw cup, monstera mugs, the Norse blue mug is stunning. I love copper float and never had any issues with it, so try raising the hold time. I’m loving the Emerald glaze! I can’t wait to see your underglaze transfers. I’m sure they will look beautiful!😍👏🏻

@@AudreyLynnStudios this is my schedule, peak temperature 2185 Fahrenheit 5 minutes hold then the next segment I play with the hold time anywhere between 15 to 20 minutes.

Hey my sista!!! Omg the strawberry carving is too cute! He has a smiley face! Still love that berry bowl so pretty! Ohhhh the pink berry bowl is delicious!! I need kimchi in my life!! Hi Audrey! Sorry I missed your premier. I love the flux over cordovan. On the one with the mug stuck to it, the effect reminded me of a Japanese painting of trees. And the light flux over the yellow is amazing. Thanks for sharing your combos!

It's no problem. I made it quite early since it was the very first Premiere for me. Cordovan and Birch is very nice. This is a real groggy clay. It's so much nicer on white stoneware. Thanks!

Just a thought. I fire to cone 5 with a 13 minute hold. I love green tea and it comes out wonderful at that temp pretty consistently. I hope that helps a little. Love your vids and absolutely love your new overglaze transfers!!

Audrey!! I’m watching your video now! love that pink mug with copper float!! Wowza! And the copper float with the River birch! I’ve literally just went and ordered CF because of you!! As for the pinhole issue and refire dilemma, maybe extend the hold to 8 min instead of just 5 min and lower your top temp by like 5 degrees? That may help, I’ll be interested in hearing how you make out with the refire. 🤞😊

I've learned not to layer a metallic with anything else. I've always had issues. Sometimes a slow refire does help...

I might throw them into a slow cool to see if the pinholes heal without losing the metalic look. This is really the only time it has happened, so it could be a glaze compatibility issue. I hear what you are saying, but this rebel is not stopping combining metallics with regular glaze! Hahahaha! Thank you for your input!😊
