OMG, my family is from Mississippi but we moved when I was 7 to a small town in Illinois, where the students and teachers made fun of my access and that I said ma'am and yall. Then, when we would go back to Mississippi to visit, everyone called me a Yankee. I've have lived on the NE coast for awhile. Thanks for the video. I need to practice this. I did it on one of my pieces and am no where to your level. Practice!

LOL, I am not alone! Yankees unite! Honestly slip trailing isn't my jam and I only bust it out for my students. They usually love it. I would usually prefer to carve and dig into the clay. We should both keep practicing! :D

@@MissLinneaLark I totally understand that! I personally do not have a teaching job, but do work a full time job. I struggle a lot with balancing my personal art with my work art. I appreciate your videos a lot! I am waiting for my personal kiln to finishing being built, but your gradient tutorial was super inspirational. I never took a class / course and use youtube for one source of information. Your videos have been extremely helpful. The ceramists on youtube are far and few so I hope this comment gives you a little more motivation. Have a wonderful day!
