Reluctantly we have started the journey of potty training our 2-year-old (32 months). Weeks 2 and 3 came with some MAJOR challenges that threw me for a loop! His emotional resistance to the potty training was a clear indication that changes needed to be made and as with any part of parenting you must be flexible to ensure substantial growth from your child. We saw great progress after the adjustments but we are unsure how this will progress.... feel free to join us (and possibly learn from our mistakes). (**Watch in 1080 HD**)

I actually like the idea of allowing the child to tell the parent when they want to go to the potty. Cause to me I think of this way: if the parent continues to put the child on the potty every 30 minutes the kid will get used to that and then won’t want to go themselves because they know that the parent will just pick them up and place them on….but if the child is allowed to go on their own…sure their Pull Up might be wet…but you are allowing the kid to learn what it feels like before they pee or poop ON their OWN❤❤❤

Agreed. But keep in mind things are a progression when learning something new they need to be introduced to the concept to gain understanding and then their autonomy will be built and inspired around this same understanding. Howeverrrr, keep up with the series of videos as it shows the journeyy in its entirety.
