honestly with 4 dogs that big living in a tiny apartment with no space to run, that schedule sounds pretty accurate. Especially if trying to train them as well from the ground up. So happy that he is willing to run 40km for his dogs 🤣 now that's a loving dog dad
Well he wanted 4 large dogs while in an apartment, of course you need to walk them a ton. I'm sure his heart was in the right place to take care of the dogs but the fact is whether he can handle that many on his own.
I think this schedule is unrealistic, especially if the owner finds work someday. I find that walks twice a day is enough for my dogs, once in the morning (doubles also as their potty walk) & another in the afternoon is enough, once they’re used to the schedule, they’ll hold it in and do their business outside, so its both mental and body. Remember, dogs came from wolves like Cesar Millan said, they get up every morning and walk far to get food, so always feed them after their morning/afternoon walks, they have to earn their food. with large energetic dogs, it’s impossible to walk one by one, I trained both my dogs to run alongside my bicycle, they can run much faster/further than we can, we need to tire them out in a better way
I would think because they play on each other's excitement and if they all got excited, they could easily overpower him and run off. Best to take one at a time and let them enjoy their surroundings.
