Moreover, it was said that the chickens' earliest evidence (fossilized remains) found for chicken domestication is in Northern China. Until in today's time, chickens still contain the same genetic elements in the mitochondrial DNA as on the bird that were domesticated in China years ago. In contrast, chickens still have a tendency for cannibalism, however, it can be mitigated with proper management and other ways such as debeaking but, debeaking is an issue in animal welfare.

Watching the video made me realize that back on the farm every time we go there my grandfather would always make us tinola manok or adobo manok for breakfast or lunch. it has come to my attention that the reason he was poultry farming was not for them to sell the chicken meat or egg but instead it was to provide food for us to eat every time we go to the farm. It also made us want to want to socialize with the chickens by feeding them and taking their eggs. This lesson made me realize a lot of things happening to our farm and how to grow the poultry farm that my grandfather is trying to make and an understanding of how poultry farm works.
