I shouldve dealt Shen Gaoren with Bowguns ages ago. Turns out you can kill it even without defence.

only ever played world, but ive heard lots about the old games and all their flaws/quirks etc. however, i can safely say that if nothing else thjis quest and your one with lao are just awesome spectacles that i absolutely love

If you people think this is nuts, you haven't seen the almighty Valor-Style Heavy Bowgun in GenU. That thing was the definition of OP - not just because of its insane DPS when using Crouching Fire/siege mode, but also because of its mobility. In Valor mode, you could press and hold B to roll and then enter a Power Run. This run would not use any stamina, and could be maintained indefinitely with judicious use of a sliding evade (which does use stamina, but not that much). Add the Valor dodge that gives the weapon a much needed defense boost, and you have a recipe for slaughter.

If anyone has this on an emulator, and has a VR headset, definitely worth a try at least once. It's like you're watching a movie or something 😂😂😂😂
