I feel like a regen shot is almost mandatory nowadays. The constant healing has saved my life many times and has definitely saved me from having to use heals or spend time finding a world medkit countless times. The big one lasts 10 minutes, great for when you arrive at the boss compound.
I agree! I use VOIP often to distract enemy hunters from my team and bait them into my sights. It allows more freedom with getting injured and saving resources. Plus I love using a shotgun, so regeneration over time helps me with bit enemies and bosses as well as players, especially for room clearing.
5-6 star lobbies are kinda weird, everyone is less frantic, more effective, but move so slowly, i think the fastest single boss fight i've had was about 25 minutes ish since every fight is like a waiting fest until either team fucks up enough to get wiped, i'd say its harder but chiller at the same time. still a better experience than 3-4 star lobbies tho
@@archpenn7842 this game feels too slow sometimes , so much walking and runing around just to get headshoted or to have a 20 min fight about hide and seek , i love the game and sometimes feels boring at the same time.
@@patosinm4189 i'd say your only hope of getting the most action is to be the decisive player and risk getting killed more, spawn fights, single boss maps also provide good opportunities to get as much fights as possible, it breaks the monotony, since most of the people avoiding fights are either in it for MMR or trying to save their high-value loadout. there's a reason why Rachta and Hornet run circles around these 5-6 stars, and the slow "afraid to die" playstyle is the biggest reason why
My top tier budget loadout. I call the "dollar store special" Springfield 1886 no custom ammo Nagant m1896, no custom ammo Knuckle knife, First aid, decoys(chokes if with team), fuses Weak regen, strong antidote, dynamite stick 4th slot free. No traits needed, but fanning helps. And if solo the typical array. Whole build is like... $200
@@saintvic2166 The good thing about this game is, that so many playstyles are viable. I'm not that much of a bow fan but die to bow players a fair ammount, especially on close quarter.
@@VAPORFEELS I agree, likely a reaction flick, was probably already looking at the window intently thinking he’d peak and happen to see him cross in the foreground. Good shot nonetheless.
"anyone can win with cheap load out even you too can!" *procedes to dive out a window, perfect jump the wooden beams to not hit the metal roof, wrap the roof to land with his aim directly on the man he heard from upstairs knowing exactly where he is and fans him* me: :O
I think my favorite cheap load out is Springfield compact dum dum and sometimes explosive (cause funny) and scotfield precision with fmj it works really well
The explo on the springfield is so so situational and useless most of the time. But then every once in awhile you find the perfect scenario to use it in. It's great for when people are trapped in a spot they can't rotate from. Just keep tickling them and wasting their heals until they get pissed and rush you, then swap to your harder hitting secondary.
I can only think of one load out cheaper than this. Knife and bandages, scavenging. This way it isn’t an unarmed scavenging run. Truly a test of skill and cunning!
I keep saying winfield bayonet is one of the best weapons yet nobody runs it. 600 vc, great irons and firerate and a bonus bayonet all in easily replenished light ammo. And since the ammo economy is so good on it u get to bring things like hand crossy
@@gronek_ i honestly never rly rely on levering, usually ill find a way to get the jump on someone chasing me or peeking me with the bayonet up close, otherwhise id usually rather ads for heads. i also never have any issues (probably partially due to me rarely levering) with ammo count, the reload is fairly fast and its back to fireready quickly so i get alot of chances to just partially reload while walking about. besides, you could also totally run a slug shotty, fanning or my personal favorite, fire/choke crossbow. choking people and then rushing them with the bayonet is suprisingly effective, since ya dont have to aim a bayonet, but most ppl cant aim through coughing. cuz they are bozos
I am a cheap loadout enjoyer. My favorite weapons in the game are (In order) Winnie, Pax, Romero, Crossbow, Springfield. 90% of games I play one of these weapons.
My go to cheap is winfield vandal striker with romero handcanon penny shot (I replaced it for rail hammer instead a few days ago and its doing great too)
my most expensive loadout in this game is like, $520 or so. very fun, but there is always the annoyance of getting killed by a gun that's worth 2-1.5x my entire loadout
6:23 that guy sounded WAY closer until the very last step. This games audio can be great, but it's the misleading queues like that, that end up getting me killed.
i just started Hunt ~2 weeks ago and here is my skill curve logic i play winfield+akimbo caldwell conv (i play on 4-5* atm) and i just loot expensive stuff from players i kill when i got more $$$ i play winfield centennial+akimbo pax when im rich xd i just go mosin/berthier+akimbo pax or akimbo trueshot i do prestiges yet (just 70 towards 2nd) i can easily afford expensive stuff every game, but i don't want to first i have to become good enough to get to 6* with cheap stuff then i'll think about playing BiS weapons :D
i take actually good loadouts maybe 1 out of 100 matches cause its just so much more rewarding to wipe a lobby or dunk on people with a springfield and scottfield than like an avtomat or a crown and king
I like to grab a free character and then give myself good equipment and just steal other players weapons. I’ve gotten many free uppercuts and mosins this way :) a lot cheaper than paying the 1000 hunt moneys!
ngl some of those players are exactly playing like they do in 3 star lobbys and i still don't get why. How in hell are they so good and still in this low mmr.
@@hornetlul Yeah. I just feel pain that lost many times, losing money and didnt even used that since i get headshot with first bullet on 5 mmr. So only getting 1 little shot and 1 little regen. very cheat. Gread video anyway youre good and smart player.
I have been really enjoying winnie vandal + bow lately, upgrade it to musket after 1st win. Since you can have hundred hands with pretty much every legendary hunter it makes it really fun, even if its the bow so its objectively shit.
I don't understand Showdown vs Tarkov, I would get away with 25+ raids just bringing a Makarov and 3 spare mags and come out golden, no player interactions.... Why is Showdown so popular?
no cheaters, and much much much less punishing. Personally I don't care to bring some sick ass gun and walk around with it for 20 minutes only to die to some dude i never saw. Hunt Showdown is like 30% extraction shooter 70% arcade shooter which is much more fun for me and I think others as well considering how long its been around and relevant.
i just dont understand why they let you get up in the first clip. not once, but twice. if that was me they would immedietely camp my body or burn it even if its not obvious that im a solo. and its obvious in this clip here that your solo lol.
@@hornetlul either way i do think your the best hunt youtuber, and i like that you still try your best and take gameplay seriously, instead of all those other streamers that run around with bomb lance bows or railroad hammers all day every day. You have the best clips !
You are a beast and yet this first team pushed you to your limits. Guy could have easily necro camped you that last time you died. It happens to me almost every time I die to players. It's not even funny. People literally prefer to throw the fight than stop ruining your day and try to fend the enemy team pushing them. BTW, I'm talking about burning bars. Most of the times they do have concertina or poison (which are just as deadly for 5 something minutes… by which point they could have extracted), but will chose to burn you solely for the sadic pleasure of dooming your character.
