+1 you need a facelift car for factory pops and bangs. They started appearing during 2004 and are denoted by projector xenon headlamps, a flat chrome grille surround, reversing lights in the rear light clusters and a fog light in the bumper (where the reverse light would be on a pre facelift). The interiors a little better, but the main differences are an additional 7hp/ps, a little more torque, shorter gearing (so accelerates better) and from mid 2005 option of a factory limited slip diff (a torque sensing GKN Super LSD) became available. I have a late facelift S with the diff and it's fantastic, driven faster cars but arguably nothing so fun.

I don’t think there are really girls or boys cars, it all depends on personal tastes and configurations/specs of the car! In my opinion though, I think this is the perfect car for a young man who loves driving and wants a small funny car to have
