This video takes viewers on a test drive of my 2017 Subaru Legacy 3.6R Limited. I also outline some of my ownership thoughts after two years of ownership.
This generation Legacy 3.6R has had slight variations of equipment and packaging with each model year, which I outline below:
2015 - First model year
2016 - Adds Lane Keep Assist to EyeSight package
2017 - Adds Reverse Automatic Braking with Parking Sensors High Beam Assist as optional equipment; Adds Sunroof and Push Button Start as standard equipment
2018 - Midcycle Refresh - LED Steering Responsive Headlights, New Subaru Starlink Infotainment with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto
2019 - Adds EyeSight as standard equipment on every model, but Sunroof is optional again
The Subaru Legacy generations typically appear in cycles of five (5) model years, so a new Legacy is due very soon, and expect it to use the new Subaru Global Architecture along with its lifted-wagon cousin, the Outback.
