Best thing about my Mini Cooper S is cornering! Country road, see a turn coming up, put foot down take it at 55 to 60, smooth, precise no roll, no wobble, solid fun, Minis are awesome!
Look up 1320 mini mate mine is running around that I use it on track days but I have multiple mods like kw club sport suspension etc i can hang with m3s on track fairly easily
Just a heads up with R53's use the whole rpm range, they have a supercharger. When you did your pull at the end of the video you were shifting right before the power band kicked in so it really doesn't show how fast the car is.
100% no 😂 the acceleration is so much better compared to the abarth there’s no doubt.. being a supercharger its quick boost and obv has more bhp and torque :)
@@Sa3Tv I was just curious as I have a 595, new exhaust as the back box was really starting to rust on mine and it’s only a 66 plate, I’m booked in for a stage 1 and hoping to go further I love it, so much fun man so much fun and it turns heads allot!!! Enjoy the new car dude and stay safe
Just a remap isn't getting you anywhere near 180 never mind 200. You need a smaller pully, bigger Injectors, cooler plugs and an air box mod plus a remap to get you anywhere near 200
If it wasn’t tuned on a rolling road then that ‘stage 1’ map will of done nothing. Maybe changed your throttle response curve and left you £350 out of pocket that’s it 🤣
@@sheilamorrison1954 Know nothing? I’ve chucked a new engine in mine, welded the supercharger baffles, baffles sump, airtec fmic, kavs 17%, scorp exhaust, bvh, alta air intake, rooster bpv. But yeah i know nothing, never done a days work on an R53 in my life… ‘Stage 1’ isn’t a thing on these, they’re not like a turbo car where you can turn up the boost, add some fuel and timing and make more power. All hardware stays as it is so it just chucks abit more timing and a sharper throttle response curve. The power whoever did the map quoted you is a lie. An R53 will not make more than 175hp without changing any hardware.
