From one Amazon driver named Chris to another Amazon Driver also named Chris, nice video bro I appreciate these videos all the time! I want to point out something for the speedometer regulation. The example you used of going 55 on the highway, in reality you can go up to 65 and you won’t get marked for it, the same applies when going on the street if its 35, you can go up to 45 max. My DSP told me that and I haven’t had a single speeding violation in months. 👍🏽

Hi, 👋 I have bad news and good news to share with you. The good news will however cover up the bad news and the bad news wouldn't matter after u hear the good news. The bad news is that we all are sinners and the punishment for all of our sins we must face after we die is unfortunately spending eternity in hell. BUT here's the good news: God still loves us soo much he sent Christ, his only Son, to take the punishment for all of our sins instead, by dying on the cross to save us from going to hell and so we can have eternal life with Christ and God in his kingdom that is full of happiness :) On the third day after Christ died, he rose back from the dead which proves he's God. So all we have to do to go to heaven is just accept Christ as our Savior and Lord because Christ died so we can go to heaven :) Our father God really loves us so much further than we can ever imagine and wants a relationship with us all as his friends and children :) God bless you and have a good day😁

@@pattycarljackson But my cellphone has a 3080mAh battery, meanwhile that van has 300 times the battery size of that. You cannot recycle a battery that big and we ain't prepared (not also the cobalt mines in Africa) to support the massive batteries that electric cars hold. This isn't possible nor good for the environment. Metal can be recycled, and for the most part, the entire car can be recycled. An electric car can be recycled too, but not the battery. I worked at Amazon as a driver for over 8 months and although the ability to relax and do your own thing is nice people dont realize how hard this job gets to find the houses when its Daylight savings time and its dark at 5. I personally hated the job only because I think the company I worked for screwed us alot. I was in this van with over 400 packages and literally could barely fit them. And could barely even walk into the back. I also got covid and it became 10x harder after to actually do this job fast which is why i ended up quitting.

i'm surprised you managed to fit 400 packages into one van, I barely fit 250 in there. I'm surprised I didn't have to do some acrobatics to reach some packages.

@@TwinkieCakey haha it was pretty interesting. It normally took me 40 stops to actually have a walk way. I also would get some routes where 50-70 packages are going to like a college apartment. So sometimes hitting those first helped a lot.

@@pivotchocolate BRUH don't remind me of college apartments holy fucking shit hahaha my man that was the worst for me. Especially here in Frankfurt. I went once in there, I had atleast like 15 packages to deliver to a literal plethora of college buildings where they had like Building A Building B etc. I lost my shit trying to deliver those packages because for some dumbass reason their map shows Building A on one side but it's actually on completely other side or it's there but the door that let's you in the building is in a different place or near Building B door. Hey man just wondering if in general it is NOT required to knock on the door/ring the door bell for a delivery. Delivering packages on the front yard or porch isnt a delivery. In the Netherlands people have to sign for them or take them at the door. No wonder proch prirates are a thing over there.

I love seeing the EDV out on the streets. I drive a cargo van for my IT job and I wish we could go to electric vehicles
@j2thedissle304
@j2thedissle304 Год назад
The term “regenerative braking” refers to the fact that when the vehicle brakes, some of the energy created from the friction of the brakes is rerouted back to the battery to regenerate the battery a small amount. This will allow the battery to last longer by continually slightly charging rather than just exhuming the energy. Electric cars are made to brake by default when not using the acceleration pedal to initiate the regenerative process. Otherwise, if the car did not brake naturally, a user might just end up coasting the vehicle (like in a gas car), not making use of the regenerative braking feature.
@ojkolsrud1
@ojkolsrud1 11 месяцев назад
This is actually incorrect. "Regenerative braking" don't apply the disk brakes at all. Instead, the motor will act as a generator. When you start to let go of the accelerator, the BMS (battery monitoring system) will start charging the battery. For a generator, charging a battery is a load - the work needed to overcome this load is what slows the vehicle down. If you brake really hard, or you have turned regenerative braking off, *then* the disc brakes are applied like normal. In fact, it is a problem with electric vehicles that the disc brakes are used so seldomly that they tend to rust up much faster than with traditional vehicles. Therefore an advice with EVs is to occasionally turn off regen and brake hard a few times to wear off the rust and keep the brake pads clean.

Very surprised to see you don't check for the recipient's name while delivering. Here in the EU they will check at least the name, but a big part of the companies even ask for your personal identification number and even a signature. For packages over 200€ amazon will even generate a one time password for you to give to the courier during delivery.

My workplace switched from CAT propane forklifts to electric ones. There is a big difference, specially when trying to fine tune the way you control a gas engine with a transmition and a hydrualic power steering compared to an all digital, electric system, electric powersteering with no transmition and really weird feeling regenerative braking which imo isn't effecient. Even though I haven't tried it, with my experience with electric forklifts I wouldn't like to drive an electric vehicle.

Sometimes the speed does adjust when you on the highway and the knetradyne will go off but we will see in the video you on the highway and know it was a error and you will be fine it not a big deal
