Year One Y/N smiles, “I heard we’ve been meaning to learn the levitating charm. Though, I can’t imagine what we’d use it for other than picking up items.” Draco didn’t seem like he was listening. You draw your hand closer to Draco’s, “You don’t seem too fond of me even though we’ve been speaking for-“ Draco flinches, glaring at Y/N. “Look, Y/N, I’m not interested in getting to know you, alright? I haven’t been listening to you at all, and you’re kinda weird,” Draco says. You draw back your hand and sigh, looking toward the front of the class. Year Two Y/N sits down next to Draco. “I was wrong about you,” Draco admits, looking at you. You smile widely and bend down to grab your books out of your bag. Draco taps your shoulder, you flinch and get up. “What is that in your hand?” You raise a brow, eyeing the paper in his hand. The origami was beautiful and made surprisingly well. Draco rubs the nape of his neck and passes it to them. “I made it for you. I know it’s kind of ridiculous, but, I heard that you are fond of crafts,” Draco mutters, leaning over to grab out his own books. You eye the paper craft and finger it, so fascinated by the craftsmanship. “Thank you,” your hand drifts against his, but he pulls away, clearing his throat. Year Three Y/N walks in shivering and you look up to find Draco already in his seat. You walk over, sitting down and placing your things on the ground beside your desk. “It’s so cold I can barely feel my fingertips,” you chuckle, rubbing your hands together. He smiles, but tried to look down to hide it. “Your face is so red,” he examines your face, and you blush at the thought. You roll your eyes and grab you things out of your bag. “How long have you been here? It seems as though you’re warmed up,” you remove your scarf, beginning to feel too warm. He shrugs and grabs his things out of his bag as well. Class begins and your hand starts to move closer to his. He looks at you, then down at your hands, which he removes after hesitation. You awkwardly draw your hand back, placing it on the back of your neck. Year Four Y/N walks in, looking surprisingly more happy than normal. You sit down, playing with your hair/sleeve, expecting him to comment on something. Whenever he didn’t, you frown and shove him lightly. “Yes, Y/N?” He asks, too busy in his writing. You smile, looking at him, admiring his focused look. “Whatever are you writing?” You ask. Draco chuckles, continuing to write down his thoughts. “You must tell me or else I’ll be curious all day. It mustn’t be too personal since you’re writing it in a public setting,” you say, reaching over to grab his quill which he draws back quickly. “Y/N, must you be so persistent? I’ll tell you later, it isn’t that important to discuss now, “ he smiles, writing quicker. You hurriedly try and retrieve his notebook, but he grabs it before you can take it. You grunt, annoyed. He looks at you with dark eyes and a mischievous grin. You scoff, trying to grab it from his hand, but he grabs your wrists. Your eyes widen and you suddenly stop. He breathes loudly, staring back at you. You clear your throat and dismiss the moment and he returns to his writing. Once class begins, your hand draws even closer than normal and he willingly enough… accepts this action. Though, he writes more quickly now, your hand being removed from his and you sigh in response. Year five Y/N walks in and notices Draco at the table. You think it rather odd after he kissed you. You bite your lip and sit down. He avoids your gaze, trying not to pay attention to you and what happened. You smooth out your robe, clearing your throat and prepare to get ready for class. “I’m sorry, Y/N,” he apologizes, looking down at his hands. Your eyes shift to his and now you’re both looking at each other. You smile and try to grab his hands, but he pulls away. “I’m sorry, Draco,” you are now the one to apologize, and he laughs. You’re the one now confused. “Y/N I’m the one who kissed you. I made this awkward. You should not apologize for ruining our friendship because I did,” he says. You gasps placing your hand over your mouth. You shake your head violently. “Draco, I’m not mad or anything. I enjoyed our embrace. It didn’t ruin our friendship, it more so increased the bond we have. Yes, we’re awkward, but not because we are not friends anymore! Because we did something that friends don’t normally do. I didn’t think it was wrong, no. You didn’t ruin anything, “ you bite your lip, giggling. His face blushes, and he awkwardly looks towards the front of the class. You try and to grab his thumb in yours, and he willingly accepts. Your heart beats louder with excitement. Year Six Draco sits down next to you in excitement. You turn and raise your brow at his giddiness. “Why are you so chipper?” You drop your quill, turning to look at him. He has his hands behind his back and he tries to sit down without revealing it, but failing to do so since you caught a glimmer of a green envelope. “I have this thing I want to give you. Don’t hate me for it, but I have to give it to you,” he reveals the letter he was holding and hands it to you. You nervously take it in hand and try to open it. He stops you. “Don’t open it until after class. I don’t want to see your reaction, that’s why,” he admits, playing his his fingernails. You place it in your bag. “O-Kay, you’re kinda freaking me out,” you tease, grabbing at his hand. He smiles, and looks toward the front of the classroom. “You’ll like it, hopefully,” he says. Year Seven You and Draco didn’t go to class today. He said he needed to talk to you. “Draco, what is this about?” You ask, rubbing his shoulders. He stares at you. “Draco, you’re scaring me, what’s wrong?” Draco grabs you and pulls you in for a hug. You gasp, not realizing that he’s hugging you. He never touches you. At least not like this. You place your hand over your mouth and pull him in. You hear his loud gasps for air. He’s crying. “Draco-“ “Please don’t speak. Y/N I just- I feel so alone,” he admits, gripping your robes tightly in his fist. You begin to cry with him. He stops, removes himself from the embrace and looks at you, worried. “Y/N, my most sincere apologies. Why have I made you cry, what’s wrong?” He wipes your tears, caressing you. You pause and look at his face, his cheeks tear stained. “You’re crying on my shoulder, Draco. Something is wrong and I want to know. Hearing you sound this way has made me distressed and I can’t bare to hear you sob. Please, tell ME what is wrong?!” You grab at his face and he flinches back. You place your hands over your mouth. “Y/N,” he breathes out. “Why can’t I touch you?” You fall to your knees and he stares at you. He goes to you and grabs at your hand, holding it tightly.
