POV: It's a heat wave and there's a severe thunderstorm 

I have a wr-100 weather radio and I live in Mississippi and in April that thing would at least go off every weekend.

We had the same thing in Portland. It was 80 degrees all evening, clear skies. Then suddenly thunderstorms for 12 hours. By daytime, back to 94 degree weather.

For the price the BC125AT is one helluva scanner! I bought 4 of them for me and my family, all programmed the same. (Cloned) for my family, In Pittsburgh 99.8675309% if all Police, Fire, and EMS are regular, analog unencrypted UHF-FM. Thus the BC!125AT is the PERFECT radio for here, It has "alpha tags" AND it receives in AM mode for CB and Aircraft! I have been a scanner listener for 40 years, and would HIGHLY recommend this radio. As with ANY radio, a "tuned" antenna for the band you want will EXPONENTIALLY open up the radio, (LONG antenna for Aircraft and CB, SHORT antenna for UHF...) the stock antenna will do ya for most listeners!

When you're posting on YT please remember that your audience has NO idea of your geographical location. Always put your full location in the notes, or even better, in the title. Major TV news stations are also guilty of this. It's incredibly frustrating to have to bounce around, google things, to determine where a story is coming from Also, WHEN. Full Location, Date, Time, on all YT vids would provide amazing clarity and chronology.
