Hi! I have a question, since what age do women in the Us start taking PT ? Like for example if a tennager goes to emergency or a public clinic... And she hasn't had sex first time it will be negative so that one wouldn't count as her first pregnancy test or yes? I'm asking because I'm Latina, I'm American and even though I have been in a relationship for 7 years I have never taken a PT, I'm 26 with active sex life, but I see videos of women taking PT every 1-2 weeks, why is that so common??
I have a really cool tip for you guys. I bought a bunch of pregnancy tests and then went through and wrote on all of their separate packaging "dip ____ seconds" and then "wait ____ minutes" that way I didn't pull out the instructions every time.

My husband said the same thing when i took my first test with our third baby i was like oh my god its a line and he was like nope no line and that no line is now 3 years old 😂
I've had that happen too. I knew there was a line (very faint one), my husband didn't see it, a couple of weeks later, we got a confirmation of a pregnancy from a professional. This was years ago. This time around (at the beginning of March 2024), I purposely made sure the line was either equal or darker than the control line before telling him of a pregnancy. He just went on a business trip. First night while he was there I did a video call and showed him, "I'm pregnant".
My husband is in denial every time too so with the first baby I just got the test that says the damn word PREGNANT and silently left it on the counter. Then again, with both my first and my now second, I got a horrific headache at implantation and knew before the tests could even show positive and then would just take tests until the line was dark enough.
Well it’s good in all of you want to wait because pregnancy tests like those have to detect a little bit more hcg a little later in pregnancy than early pink dye tests that can detect the Lowest hcg.👍
Congrats! If you're miserable from morning sickness, of course *talk to your doctor* first, but vitamin B6 and a unisom at night before bed is what I was prescribed, and it works like a dream! Congrats again on the baby ❤
My first pregnancy, I used the name brand tests, and that was me. I'd see what wasn't there, hoping it was positive. My second pregnancy, I got the test from the dollar store, and it was as clear as day, and there was no doubt I was preggo.
That's exactly what happened to me... paid 20 bucks for name brand . Could tell thab went to the dollar store . Literally paid a dollar!!!! And bam preggo.. that was in 99.
Got an 8$ two test box and did one on Sunday and one on Monday. Both positive as day, baby due in august. I don’t even bother with name brand ours we’re Walgreens brand 😂
Highly recommend red dye tests! Blue dye tests get really bad Evap lines for whatever reason, and red is easier to read! I didn’t know this until later on into parenthood, so I love sharing this with mommas! Lol
If you look closely before she puts the cap on it, it is pink, so I believe that means it is the red-dye, early detection, version by Clear Blue. Regardless, she already knows she’s pregnant now, they’re just releasing the old footage now that they are in the announcement stage of the pregnancy. 😁

That was me every time. I even put them to the light, took them apart, threw them away and then went back later took it out the garbage and stared at it again. Damn those evap lines!!!
That was my sister-in-law and I the other night 😂 Swear to God, we both saw a very faint line after she took it. But she started her period today so we were just buggin', I guess 😂😂😂 Our husbands were literally like "There's literally not a single thing there" and we're like "you seriously cannot see that??"

@@SusieQ3 ya I agree. I always used the cheap ones but with my last (4th child) I wanted to triple make sure so after 3 other cheaper tests I had my sons dad get the word one lol and sure enough it said pregnant so then we both knew it was real 😂
My first pregnancy, it was obviously negative, threw it away, took it out of the trash like an hour later, definitely looked positive. I was totally confused. To another one like 2 days later, & definitely positive. I'm convinced sometimes it takes longer than that 2 minutes 😂 I ended up losing the baby at 12 weeks, but his/her younger sister is almost 5 now & the light of my life. And I always double check a test now later 😂

I got my tubes ties 20 plus years ago...my hubby and i are now proud grandparents, but watching this video i got the urge to start taking pregnancy tests JUST TO SCARE MY HUBBY😂my only thought WHAT IF one is false positive...lmao..i'd lose my mind lol...
False positives are extremely rare (about 0.5%) and can potentially be a sign of cancer or another medical condition. False negatives are pretty common (when you have the ability to get pregnant), mostly from testing too early. If women test at the right time, then they can trust the results are accurate.
Me and my wife both have a good bit of Irish ancestry. Everytime she takes one of these tests I wait with bated breath to see if I need to run out of the house before she gets to the knives and threatens an at home vasectomy.
This happened with our second I seen a very and I mean VERY faint line but I knew in my soul our 2nd little miracle was here. He didn’t see it and for the next 3 days he didn’t see it until we got a pregnancy test that said pregnant . She came into this world fast and in a hurry and she’s been high tailin her butt around our world since then never a dull moment. Congrats to your second Miracle!
That was me when I was trying to get pregnant. Then after awhile I kept making myself see things. Then when there was actually something there I thought it was just me still being delusional 😂
This is me and my partner after 18 losses before having our miracle baby end of 2022 😭 I’d obsess and I was always right but majority of the time I was the only one who ever saw it lol
I thought mine was negative because the line was barely there that I thought I was imagining it. I retook it with a different test that actually spells it out for you, and yes, definitely pregnant.
You forgot to go to the window to look in natural light, go to every room in the house to look in those various lighting scenarios and use you phone’s flashlight (which always ends up being TOO bright)😁
I know this is going to sound weird, but please don't buy the super expensive pregnancy test when you can literally get them for a $1.25 at Dollar Tree. They are the exact same kind they use at a doctor's office.
This is so funny. With my first pregnancy I checked and checked. I couldn’t believe my eyes, but I sadly lost that one. The second pregnancy I just outright refused to test. When I was getting close to missing my second period my wife came in one morning and said today’s the day. In 30 seconds she was in the room jumping up and down 😂 And now there’s a 3 year old sleeping in my bed because he won’t get in his own bed!!
See my fiance was like your period is late & I was like what. He isn't supposed to be able to have kids cause his chemo & 1 time 1 freaking time without anything & him buying me about 7 tests one of every style cheap electronic all that said pregnant & I was like nope. Here we are now with a 6yr old son 😂 & he stepped up to be a dad for my daughter
I will never forget the moment when I took my pregnancy test. As I dipped the tip in the urine, I saw the positive line come up so fast and dark, and then the control line appeared. I kept saying to myself, 'No way, no way, I can’t believe it.'

I read these and other diagnostic tests for a Living and I STILL double taked on my wife's first positive. It was SUPER faint.. she came in and showed me in bed and I said, YUP that is a positive. The next day it was GLOWING..😅 NOT planned but glorious accident
Yep, I went through infertility and all that entails so I took so many of those tests so when I finally got positive pregnancy test with my kids I actually kept those pregnancy test!! My kids are in their 20s 🤩 I still have them in my drawer!! I will never throw those ones out anyone that’s been through infertility would understand wanting to keep them forever! ♥️👣👣♥️
Neither time I was pregnant did I even have to look..I was absolutely sure before I was even late. My boobs get HUGE prominent veins the second I get pregnant. Plus I felt implantation both times. The 1st time I even knew where the placenta was attached by where I'd felt implantation cramps. And the tests were quickly visible without any doubts.
What’s funny is the time I found out I was pregnant I didn’t think I was and I didnt feel the anxiety I usually do when I take them. I just chilled and then boom. Seconds later I get a dark line and it felt so surreal ❤ I could’ve believe it because I accepted we’d have to do IFV & really didn’t think I could even get pregnant but something told me to take one anyways.
I promise if you are it'll show within a few seconds. I just used that exact test on Monday And it started forming a positive as the pee was absorbing up the stick lmao. I was like WTF!!!
28 years ago I took a rest a week before my period was due. I didn't see anything so I set it on the counter. I came in 3 hours later and it was positive. I suspected I was. It was my 1994 Superbowl halftime baby👶‼♀️
I would never touch the stick because I was scared it would mess up the results. Afterall I was in birth control pills, but my periods for 2 months were odd. It showed bright and clear pregnant. Went to the dictor and he said the same thing. It was 20 years later that I put 2 and 2 together. The July before (3 months) I had come down with tonsillitis and took an antibiotic. This was 1978, before they realized antibiotics could null and void the effectivness of the pills.
I would switch to pink dye if that's blue. I got a very positive test. Same day blood hcg was 0. So definitely not pregnant. 😢 My Dr was even shocked. We did double check for possible lab error.
Was back to tracking my Lh, and bbt and also with COVID tests, I read the instructions all the time, and the LH one was actually difficult to track this cycle, someone told me to get the clear blue … I mistakenly bought the ones with the lines. Then got the one with the happy face … so much more reassuring 😀
It's pretty dang similar. Only difference is instead of sticking one end of the test into pee, you drip a couple drops of the snot/tester mix. The reader pretty much reads the same.
Girl I remember those days. I now have 2 beautiful babies ❤ pro tip if you are trying to get preggers, after sexy time, lay on your back and put a pillow under your bum/ pelvis for about 15 minutes. Gravity will do the rest 😊
Gosh I remember those days. Willing there to be another line. Sure that I could see one if I got the light just right. I’m so thankful I was able to have four children but secondary infertility after my first for 5 years really opened my eyes to the pain of wanting something so bad it physically hurt. Begging for signs and thinking every symptom was pregnancy for sure this time. For those out there in the season of waiting, hold on to eachother. Have grace. Girl I have a 3 and 4 year old and about 24 weeks ago I was like man I’m about to get my period and I have no pms symptoms this is great (takes a pregnancy test I had in the medicine cabinet) me… 🙃oh , now I’m expecting baby #3 in may 😂😭

I had given up on ever getting pregnant, although not preventing it, after trying for 10 years. My husband made a comment about my monthly being later than usual, but that wasn't anything new to me. To shut him up, I took a test. I was expecting to see the usual one line, but when second line appeared, I took out the instructions manual. I needed a whole week or longer to process this sudden turn of event. It's been 11 years since that moment. My youngest looks just like her daddy but she's got my personality.
I remember this but my two tricked me! My first everything came back negative until ten weeks then suddenly it was positive the second the color moved over that little screen and undeniably so. My second it took till about 7 weeks to get a positive but same thing that was another instant undeniable positive. I sure hope you all have your positive soon and a healthy pregnancy and baby. It will happen. It really is all about the moment you stop trying so hard and take that stress off yourself. With my second we weren’t trying in fact the opposite of that until one night there was a conversation about what do you think should we have at least one more? The next day was when I found out baby had been chilling there for 7 weeks. I had taken tests previously since I was feeling some early symptoms and my period had been extremely light almost non existent but it said nope. So I didn’t even worry about it until the conversation. My mil was like I think you should just take a test today something tells me my grand baby is already in there. She was not wrong😂.

Sometimes it will show a very, very faint line on one of them. And that's what it was with my third child and a very, very faint. I cried when my husband told me that I was pregnant with the third baby. Who's the second one who's only if two months old They're not even two years apart Birth wife I seriously have two children that are less Then 2 years apart. No I have 5 girls.

Happened to me I barely saw the line my husband swore no line. I kept testing and the line got darker and dark each day. Finally he saw it and we announced to his family that Easter. 2 weeks later, 1 year on the dot from when my grandma passed away I found myself in the ER for miscarriage.
I tried for years and thought some9was wrong wit me💯 tell him to drink 2 raw eggs and after s3x lay on your back and lift your legs in the air up against the wall or something to help gravity do its job😂 worked for me after first time I was like no way
