When hurricane Irma hit FL I had to evacuate to Atlanta GA and the owners of the Track opened it up for us Evacuees they Served us Hot Food and Had Hot Showers available they let us Drive our Trucks on the Track
I have over 32 years experience with my own truck. Also have some Holler experience. Are there any teams looking for Holler drivers and how do I go about looking into it?
When your CB radio sounds like that you need to check you grounds make sure you have good grounds and then go to someone that installs radios like for Police and fire and have them tune your antenna you would be amazed at the difference. I would come do it for you but medically unable.
Also have your truck Mechanic make sure the cab of the truck is grounded to the frame of the truck and then you have a static strap from the truck to the payment under the truck to stop static electricity
Cool videos!! It looks like they have some real snug turns getting in & out of there & Daytona. Just curious, do you guys have the dump valves on the trailer axles wired to switches in the cab?
Between the shop and track, we use the sleeper, but once at the track we get a room. NASCAR won't allow anyone in the garage once it closes, so we don't have a choice in that
@@MotorRacingNGravy I'm not sure about your setup, but I know where I'm at some of the bigger dirt car haulers have a Starlink wifi system in the trailer. That could be something to check on as well. We had a dump truck that was having a slightly similar situation and it turned out that the wires for the heated mirror were interfering with the mirror mounted antenna. Anyway, keep on truckin!
Bristol without a doubt. Bristol is the one track they want you to have tow hooks installed on your front bumper to get pulled out bc so many stall going up the banking. I have a couple of videos coming in and out of Bristol, and honestly, they do it no justice
I don't even know what that means. There are no knobs that say squats 🤣 if you're talking about the squelch, I've turned it all the way down and up and I'm still getting the feedback
