Reversing my truck onto a Wasaline ferry (M/S Wasa Express) at port of Holmsund (Umeå, Sweden).
Sorry about the bad audio quality and angle, I tried to hide my camera into my hat because it would have been too awkward to use the headmount :D

You probably see alot of drivers and trucks from the company "Östervalls" on the ferrries between Sweden and Estonia, I work there and I always looking for you on the roads in Sweden, but so far its always someone else when i see a kauritel truck. Nice video and would be nice if you did a vlog.

Thanks! Yeah, I see your companies trucks quite often when I’m around Stockholm, not that much on the ferries because I don’t take a ferry from Kapellskär or Stockholm very often, most of the times I drive through Finland. Btw nice videos by you aswell, especially straight pipe sound videos, music to my ears. :)

Nice driving :) I must admit though i was even more interested to see the truck in line next after you. Reversing with that roadtrain(from personal experience)is even more impressive to master. Cheers from the cold north of sweden! :)

Had great time to reverse 25,5m truck into that floating disaster :D Took couple of times to "take some back", it's so much easier to get semi-trailer there (had done that also :D :D )

only sailed once on wasaline in my career and oh man do I hate that route, not enough time to get proper sleep and having to back up into the cargo hold, good thing the crew know what they are doing but doing long backups like that always makes me nervous even after 6 years

You get nervous backing up a semi trailer? I would understand if you meant 25m dolly combination, but a semi is straight forward.

When you watch a video of a truck reversing on a ferry you done self over a 100 times just to refresh the memories... 🤪 And didn't matters what I drove, allways one the smaller side they put you on to. Semi, 25m 19m didn't matter...

Yeah, it probably needs less space in tight spots but I can’t agree with that it is easier. I know that many drivers say that for some reason that it is easier but so far I’ve never seen anyone reversing a dolly as fast as most drivers reverse semitrailer. Ofcourse it depends what you are used to drive, semi or dolly. Atleast I am really bad at reversing a dolly but I have only done this a couple of times 😀

Peale motivatsioonipuuduse pole midagi juhtunud. :) Tahaks midagi huvitavat kaadrisse saada, kuid teed korduvad enamus ajast ja pole mõtet üksluiseid videosi teha. Tuleb ära oodata korralik talv, siis saab hakata tihedamini videosi üles laadima. Samas tegelikult pole ju kunagi väga tihedalt videosi üles laadinud, koguaeg 1-3 tk kuus :D
