In today's video I decided to take you guys with me on an adventure around the city shooting POV photography (Point of view) to take pictures of strangers, take portraits and take pictures of the beauty Barcelona has to offer. This was shot with the Canon 250D SL3 DSLR camera, along with the nifty fifty EF Canon 50mm f1.8 prime lens.

Hi, great video. I am considering getting the Canon 250D with the 50mm f/1.8 STM as it is considered one of the best lenses for art photography, but nowhere can I find examples of that camera/lens combo being used for taking detailed pictures of oil paintings. Would this be good enough as I am having problems taking super fine details of my textured oil paintings.

Hey! I'm not an expert on taking photos of painting but If you use an aperture f3 and higher for them I would say them they should all be in focus and sharp for sure, it's a great lens

I had the problem where the Gopro kept turning off too! I put an external battery so it doesn't interrupt the recording when im taking pics of strangers and I can just focus on them and not worry about the camera

Nice video! You think that the 5fps burst shot is enough on this camera? I'm undecided between this SL3 and the M50 that has 10fps burst. They are two very similar cameras but the M50 seems annoying for the battery and the lens adaptor. Again, really nice video, so good! 🌠

Thanks a lot Davide! For me I've never had a problem with it but I guess if you mostly shoot fast action sports or wildlife and need super quick shots then it might be. For real, the battery life is amazing on this camera I can be shooting for hours and it rarely goes flat unless I'm shooting a lot in 4K.

in the future if you ever go mirrorless like the R cameras you can always get the adaptor to use your favourite EF lenses. The 250D is a bit bigger than the M50 which I like too.

Hey! I haven't used Nikon before, but to be honest the M50 and 250d are both great cameras for the price. Would depend of you want Mirrorless or a DSLR. I'm super happy with the 250d 🔥🔥

I always use manual! I've got more tutorials on instgram showing the settings for blurry backgrounds. You just need to make the f/number as low as you can :)

I have been thinking to buy a Canon 250D with 18-55mm lens, do you advice to buy another 50mm ? or can I use 250D with 18-55mm for a long time ?

Hey! This 50mm f1.8 is a really good price, it costs around $125 and takes your photos to the next level. That being said I think if it's out of your budget for now then don't worry! I've shot plenty of great videos and photos with the 18-55mm and it's great to learn and master the settings. Thanks for reaching out🙂😎🔥

And depends on your style of shooting if you want to do portraits too with a super blurry background and shooting in lowlight then I deff recommend this 50mm f1.8, it's a dope lens 🔥

Definitely get the 50mm, I brought my brand new for just under £100. I’ve never used the 18-55mm, I went for the 18-135mm instead but I think for starting out the 18-55 is good.

I think you're forcing a lot of photos, especially by asking basically anyone you see. This isn't real street photography, it's not organic and spontaneous, this is photography ON the street and portraiture on the street.
