WELCOME TO ANOTHER SUMMER VLOG (even though it's currently Autumn in Australia haha)
Here's a vlog from our Gold Coast adventures in February! In this video, we have a special guest with us who was staying the week (Kal, Beth's boyfriend). We had a car so that meant we could easily travel to other locations rather than just staying in Surfers Paradise. I was super excited to explore other areas around the Gold Coast, our first drive was to Coolangatta, which borders New South Wales. We spent a few hours on the beach soaking in the sun, journaling and trying to body surf. We then drove back to Surfers Paradise and got Acai bowls from Oakberry Acai - and a cow's heart made out of plastic.. for valentine's day... watch and you'll understand. That night I released my first original song!! It was the most surreal night and I am so thankful to all those of you who listened to it or wrote a sweet comment ❤️
A few days later, we decided to go on another road trip, and this time, the scenery was a little different. We drove through the beautiful Springbrook National Park - seeing horses, unique tree formations and cabins. We went to the Mount Cougal Section where there were beautiful rock pools and waterfalls. The water was FREEZING but refreshing at the same time. I could not reccomend this place enough - and look out for the pretty blue blutterflies! When we got back we felt the urge to make the most of the sunny day in Gold Coast so we headed to Surfers Pavilion for cocktails and ended our night with a pizza dinner from La Porchetta.
These adventure days were so fun. I hope you can get a group or your family together and plan something alike 🦋
