Northsea is always brown. I think it's because of a combination of seaweed, color of sand and our grainsize of that sand is really small so it easily floats in water

Is it easy to get good conditions like this all around the year or there is specific periods where it gets better and worse? I am from Portugal and I will be going to Netherlands to work soon. It would be so good to have this type of conditions every now and then, the ideia of not being able to surf really sucks.

Best surf is in the winter and in the summer it’s usually flat or unrideable

We can surf just as much as in Hawaii, just our waves are bad/average most of the time. So you'll definitely be able to surf, just lower expectations of quality of waves. And these conditions are once a month probably if you know your spots well 😊

I'd say once a month you can score waves like this if you know your spots.

Do you think it is possible to learn surfing there for begginers? I heard it is not a sea to begginers.

Yes definitely. Just go to local surfschool and takes some lessons. You'll learn the basics quite quickly 😊

You've got some great surfschools in Scheveningen like the shore, hart beach and aloha surf. All kinda similar. Enjoy 😊
