Thank you for watching legends!! I’m going to share some extra insight about my experience shooting with the X4 below ⬇️ The camera is sick & so easy to use! This thing has some many video settings & features that I didn’t even mention that go way beyond surf content. But I’m a simple man I just like to hit record & do my thing without worrying too much. And that’s what I loved about this! Especially not worrying about tilting the camera up for barrels or down for airs (how I normally do). The colour looks great! GoPro has amazing colours but this also looked really realistic. The audio really impressed me too. Normally action cameras sound terrible in the water but this one is really nice! Now in the water I use Quick Capture with the screen locked. Unfortunately Insta360 cameras when you stop recording in this mode… have a screen that pops up and says “touch screen to cancel power off” and because I was in the water it kept cancelling then I’d have to lock the screen again & turn it off again which was annoying. Nothing major but would be sick if this wasn’t an issue! I was scared about dropping it. Since it’s shooting in 360 degrees I don’t think they’ll make a floating case for it. But you can always get the necklace thing if you’re worried about losing it! Another thing, the camera is really LONG! So it hit my surfboard a few times and got some wax on the camera lenses. Editing as mentioned in the video took forever!! I want to estimate a good 8hrs+ So if I shot POV again I’d definitely do the Single Lens Mode & make sure I had the mount setup properly so the stitching wasn’t an issue. I chose the FOV (Field of View) manually when editing and really liked how WIDE I could make it to capture more action! This was such a sick thing about the X4 as sometimes my GoPro will miss certain shots as the FOV isn’t wide enough. --- Overall, this camera is sick! It’s hard to compare directly to my GoPro as the X4 can do so much more. The GoPro is the master of shooting one specific style. Whereas, the X4 shoots in so many unique ways! And as you can see, the POV is still really sick. I’m very keen to try this out with the invisible selfie stick & other unique angles! If you read all this, leave a Shaka 🤙🏽 below. You’re a legend! Dude do you know how water proof these cameras are? I have the 3x and I don't know if I can go with it into the water without a case... also where did you get the adapter and the mouth part? Keep on the shredding and great vids!
Yes they’re 100% waterproof down to 10 metres (which only scuba divers & freedivers would ever reach). Just make sure the latches on the side are properly attached 🤙🏽
Insta360 sent them to me. Except for the mouth mouth, that’s from GoPro. But insta360 also sells their own. Should be able to find them all on their website

bro those slimey things are freaky!! i never know if they're rays or flounders/halis. get them so much here in socal i stepped on probably 30 of them over the summer months when i was surfing more😂
@4:34 you stepped on something weird - the amount of times ive stepped on little rays sitting on the bottom at this exact spot, especially when the water is warmer, they feel slimy and wriggle away under your foot. its the most offputting feeling ever hahah.
