Another reason I think it's projection of her own self is because she was specific about the race. She could've said any woman but she specifically said Latina.

TBH, there’s a lotta generational trauma that makes women this way…nobody deserves to be miserable, they’re trapped in their own trauma response and have probably never been around healthy relationships. Maybe they think they deserve it. Maybe they don’t know how to get out…financially, emotionally, both…

I used to work with a woman like that, except neither one of us are white. She made jokes about how she was racist against her own people, was prejudiced against Hispanic names, and was so proud of "not being like other girls" but enforced gender roles on boys. To this day, just thinking about her makes me sick
I’ve met this lady before at a job I used to work at. I was helping her find a paint color for her house when suddenly she goes “did you know your boobs are out??🤨🤨” They weren’t “out,” I was just wearing a v-neck shirt, plus I have big boobs, so unless the shirt is too big, they’re gonna show at least a little bit. But it was a very normal level of cleavage, my managers didn’t dress code me or anything. Also she was wearing so many freaking layers of heavy clothing, it was like 90 degrees.
Omg the self-projecting.. My mom was kind of like that, saying if I ever got a bf then I’d understand the “problem with men” and that I’ll always be let down…I still have yet to be let down by my bf and we’ve been together for a year at this point. Just because it didn’t work out for you, it doesn’t mean I’m doomed to that too.

My aunt is like this ever since I was a child, and here i thought i was the problem 😬 She always picks and embarrass me and my siblings especially when we have guests and family gatherings. turns out she's projecting her insecurities towards her nieces🙄. To give more context, she's middle aged, single, and still lives with our grandma.
She kinda reminds me of my Spanish teacher, like at one point she said something about a pound and then went "not like you girls with your pound of lipstick" like please 💀 we're 10th graders and you're a middle aged woman leave us alone
That’s my Grandmom 💀💀 ok so I was 13 and she was in her 60’s and she gave me some shorts and I wore a pair right? They we’re obviously big on me but it wasn’t to the point they were dropping down so one night she looks at me and laughs and says “Omg! I wore those shorts after giving birth to your dad and uncle and they fit you like a glove!” Now mind you I didn’t say anything and just laughed it off because she took me to fort Lauderdale but she kept making comments about how she was in better shape than me when she was in her like 30’s. Again I was 13 and there went all my progress on trying not to relapse on my ed 🫠🫠
