Enjoy your stuff. Did years carting fuel in triples in Aus. This brings back memories of truckin into places a triple shouldn't be . No harder or easier than what you are doing though. Plenty of those moments where you don't breath . Keep up the good work young fella.
Well done for acknowledging the helpful cars. Not everyone is a clown, and we need to encourage the good ones. It is also nice when they acknowledge when you give way.
Laughed hard out at "Not very good content if i ended up in a f#$ken paddock tho" 🤣, bro that sh!t would go viral haha. Keep up the awwesome hori work cuz 👍
Alot of foreign truck drivers are on our roads now.Cant get enough Kiwis to drive trucks.Years ago,Kiwi truck drivers were the best. Where are they all now? Over in Ausi?
@@Truckersteve14 My first “big” job, 50 years ago at the age 19 was taking a A train, a 33’ semi with a little 18’ dog trailer on the back, from Gisborne to Auckland, and trying to back into the loading bay with everyone outside on smoko. After stuffing it up numerous times and spending ages finally getting it in the forklift driver said we normally push those trailers in with the forklift but we enjoyed the show!
I remember those feelings my days of backing 5axles in warehouses and PnSave . We know how to reverse, it’s just those one of days where we overcook it 😅😂
I used to spread metal on farm races out in the whop-whops and its not the trucks I've had to worry about out in the sticks its the townies going out for a country cruze. haha, love your Blogs Bro, I only just found your site so that makes me a greenhorn lol. Good work and be safe, Chook
Auckland drivers break my brain. I like to drive fast and have spent ages building up my car etc. I'm always trying to be courteous, keep with the traffic flow, let people merge etc and give it a good thrash at times I choose to be ok. Meanwhile every Aucklander will do 70 in a 50 without looking or indicating then sit at 95 in the fast lane oblivious to a growing tail behind them. People need to just chill and work together in the road. Driving isn't always fun but we can at least all go home with no hassles. Oh, Auckland tailgating freaks me out like bro, you're inside of your reaction time so you WILL hit something before you even realise sh!t has gone wrone, phones mounted blocking prime windscreen real estate too. Jeez I'm sounding old lol
Live in Wainui and those back roads can be challenging for people who still think they can drive at 100kph on gravel but having rallied on those roads they're perfect😀
Big respect for you truckies driving rural roads. I live in Otoko Gisborne and Whakarau road ain’t the easiest for trucks. We give way where we can and always a 👋 too lol. Drive safe brutha 👍
I work on the policy of “Fuck em”, I’m not going out on the soft shoulder and rolling the truck for anyone. However that being said, I will put my truck off the road and slow up for any B Double stock truck that’s coming toward me here in Aussie. I would far rather do that and keep him upright than have to pick up ole mate and his load spread across the road.
@@Truckersteve14 cheers for the reply! I'm honestly amazed that the road got OK'd for 50max! Usually the surface of these narrow roads get absolutely battered by the extra weight
In AKs the Assian drivers in their new electric cars are the worsed on the roads. They cant even handle country driving either.I own a motorhome and travel alot.I always pull over to let others pass, but many dont and hold vehicles up.I keep up with the truckies,as long as they are doing 90 Im okay.I have AM CB radio in my camper, talk to them on ch 11,give them company on long trips. They all do a fine job,but unfortunitly many car drivers have no paitence for them....James.
Yes, but you likely won’t need it. There's a legal 13-hour work limit unless exceptions apply. Depending on the company, you’ll probably start early, complete deliveries, return to the depot, and drive home before hitting the limit. If you want longer hours, logging is an option, though it’s mostly controlled by Chinese companies.
awesome to find this channel, you stock drivers are next level.i remember back in the days of combined haulage, their go to we’re ex stock truck drivers .
@@Truckersteve14 Whoops. I was pointing the finger at the city slickers complaining. I'm surrounded by them 😵 However I love hiking when the tracks are open 😬
We don’t run HPMV weights like most use it for on state highways, some upto 58t, You’d be a complete moron to do that on these roads anyway even if it was legal, we have the same weight limit as anything else on these roads no matter the unit, if anything its easier on the road with big setups, same weight spread over more axles
First time viewer. Enjoyed the truck driving. Unfortunately the only part I did not like was seeing the animals loaded on to the truck. Hard to watch as I'm a strict vegetarian but otherwise great.
@@ianbarnett6027 Fair enough mate, not my favorite thing in the world either, i love working with them and getting them where ever they are going safely and thats my job, not a fan of the rest, cheers for watching 👍
