if you were to think about it, the ‘child’ on the bed has the closest chance to being the monster or other thingy idk. the child on the bed immediately identified that specifically a monster was in her closet, whereas the child in the closet could not identify who or what was on the bed, only that it resembled a human. saying there is a monster in your closet without generally knowing it is compared to what the child in the closet said is a bit off. thank you for my ted talk.
