Hey thanks Scott, yes Spring felt like a long time coming this year... but the Beech woke up first in these ere parts 👍 This rain.. we kinda need some up here but just not too much eh? 😉 They talk of warmer times coming very soon (I guess we'll be moaning about inspects then 🙄) 😎 All the best mate 🙏
Beautiful place to walk and become immersed in its beauty. Stunning photography, loved the video and seeing your journey through the Beech Wood ❤ Must be a wonderful place to stay a while, looking up. ✨ Fabulous gallery, captures full of richness and woodland beauty x
Lovely to be back and get to tag along😃✨🙏🏻 and I really enjoyed how you show the result picture whilst shooting 😃 but you made it look so easy!😅 You’re a truly good photographer! Finding beautiful captures everywhere🙌👏 i have been away from screens for a while, and now when catching up and watching your vlog i actually feel that I’ve missed this😊 thank you for sharing your visits to the woodlands me duck 🙏🏻✨💚🦆 and hope you’re keeping really well!
Can't beat a beech woodland, those new leaves at this time of year are fantastic. I've not been to the woods for over a month, so need to venture out soon, but the weather down south has been awful and set to continue for another week. I actually found the lack of bluebells refreshing, don't get me wrong, finding carpets of bluebells are stunning, but this time of year every other youtube subscribed landscape channel is a video of bluebell photography, you can have too much.
Lifts my spirit no end Julian 👌 and when the canopy fills, their just as exciting aren't they? Yeah weather here is grim too.. unsettled week or more ahead by look of things. I'm going to try and hop out between the showers though.. actually get some really beautiful light in between the showers can't we? I know what you mean about the bluebells 😊 too much of a good thing.. I like to chase the seasons but there's so much more on offer than just the 'trends' isn't there 😉 Hope you get out there in the trees soon.. so true, this time of year is pure magic 🙏 Thanks for the view my friend, Steve
That short patch of light and rain was lovely, you got some great images mate - I feel the look has changed since shifting to Nikon, for the better in my opinion, I love the look of the images you've put out, 18:50 has some character, and the macro shots are just mint! Did you use just the 50mm lens for the this? Great video Steve!
Cheers mate 👍 ..I'm eager to get more shooting in, times been a bit stretched lately & my GoPro has gone back with an audio glitch 🙄 but soon. Yes it's got an incredibly different feel in post & I'm very pleased to say (my main concern about moving over to the Nikon mirrorless systems) the same old Nikon character is there.. only even more polished somehow - very impressed so far 👌 Yes all shot with the native Z 50mm f1.8 S lens (min. focal distance around 20cm) and I plan to drop some extension tubes on that one day and really put it to the test, perhaps in Autumn when the forest floor gets a little more interesting. Thanks again Rauri, much appreciated my friend 🙏
@@StevePikePhoto Wonderful - yes I do like the look of the Nikon images you've shown, very tempting! That lens is a beaut too, creates some great shots with that soft shallow DOF. Take care mate, keep the content coming 😁
