you can use the surffixbroker in utau to remove the prefix letters before you import it, or if you use openutau you can crtl+a -> notes -> japanese vcv to cv. i hope this helps you
One day I was testing usts on synthv because I had a problem with it and I was thinking "There's no way it's gonna make sound I used a vcv with suffixes." And when I played it ust turned svp it sounded like "Slivimehifimehimeh" it was hilarious!
u can do what flamentnagel said in their comment to prevent this, and also if you use utaformatix for your file conversions u can change the target lyrics type from VCV to CV and it will do it for you
