My friend can solve a 4x4, but not a 3x3. I don’t exactly know how, but I assume it has to do with him being colourblind. I think he must have a 4x4 with a colour scheme that works for him.

I have over 30 2x2x2s, but my 2nd cube was a 4x4x4 after getting a 3x3x3, so I used it as a 2x2x2 until I finally got one

You could just use a 3x3 to replace a 2x2 - just make sure that on one side you move double layers And on the other move a single layer
