@@jimmiekarlsson4458 They're only random until you start killing people and taking their abilities. I've had matches where all of the last 3 players are running the exact same stuff.
Seriously Blizzard if they wanted too experiment with a other genre of game , they should of copy "Smite or Dota" style genra .. FortWoW not my thing , getting 1 shot and force too watch a bunch of pecker-heads having fun after isn't kool . WoW has it sense of strategy too it , this just kill everything on sight gameplay
The mode last about 1 hour with novelty, then you realise there are 50 renown levels and after 1 hour you are barely level 3, it’s a grind - the only motivation to play it is the grind and, if we were playing wow already, a battle royal isn’t the target audience for that genre of game
I played for a few hours last night and it's definitely not for me. Couldn't get a single kill. People just seemed to one shot me whereas I couldn't put a dent in their HP.
What makes it diffrent? its a stand alone mode, and u only get transmogs, mounts and titles, no gold, no equipment, u dont use your own regular character, u dont have to level any character.
Warcraft 3 had a mod for everything. I saw maps that replicated WoW, Naruto, Minecraft. Whatever you may want - there is probably someone who already made a WC3 custom map about it.
When I read "WoW BR" I was imagining something like Level 1 players with unarmed or basic weapons running around and collecting Level 10 classes and sets and the longer you survive your gear and abilities upgrade to 20, 30, 40, 50, 60 sets so the last remaining fight is a full gear full spec PVP, I had 0 idea of anything else they could do with the concept then clicking on this video I was too gullible it's yet again the poorly coded, out of date WoW engine just slapping on random abilities with piss poor animations that controls like floaty garbage, nothing really making any coherent sense and gets boring after 10 minutes. Any time WoW has gone outside of its traditional combat it always falls flat ever since doing the Death Knight quests in WotLK where you steer the dragon around, the developers just never get it right and it feels like wasted effort.
One common criticism is that its only playable for wow subscribers, in the retail client. For me it's actually super satisfying that it isn't a spinoff, it is wow.
PvP in SoD is so broken, spells/attacks hits way to much considering how low stamina pool everone have. Only way to balance that shit is increasing stamina on items, or nerf the dmg, and this is comming from someone that do play SoD, got one rogue with 440+ GS, and a balance druid with 466GS
I think it's a good direction if they want to add more game mode. The reason is, there is so many maps that they can use but in reality no one using in game if you not do loremaster. They can use this good maps for new game modes.
It's a good thing they wasted time on this instead of actually improving the game in any way, but hey they minorly buffed some tier sets and gave warlocks a low effort glyph! Billion dollar company!!!
