I just watched and finished Hilda last week. Yes, you heard that right. I'm new. Well, I watched the movie first back in mid 2023, got confused because it feels like part of a show, and only learned that the show exists last month. Anyway, after I finished it I went to IMDb only to find out that Hilda and Ellie was played by the same girl. Seeing that blew my mind because of how good and different her acting in both shows. She went from cute little British scout girl to a girl that will say "fuck you" everytime she got the chance to say it in a American accent. Now that is a talent. Like seriously. Also, seeing this I realized that the fans from both shows must be going wild and making memes about it 😂
Loved the use of audio from The Last of Us, especially given that it’s Hilda’s VA. I don’t think Hilda would swear unless she was really angry though. But, then again, Victoria Van Gale is one of the few people who has the ability to make her very angry. So, I guess this is pretty accurate 😅
